Eligibility for Admission to Sagar Institute of Research and Technology, Bhopal 

SIRT offers 4 years BTech program with 6 different specializations, and each specialization has a fixed seat intake. The given is the Intake capacity in each specialization.

Eligibility for B.Tech Admission

• The candidate must have completed his/her 10+2 in Science Stream (Physics, Chemistry, and Maths as main subjects)
• The minimum percentage requirement in 10+2 is 60%.
• The passing certificate of 10+2 must be obtained from a recognized board.
• The admission will be completely based on the JEE Mains score/rank and the merit score obtained by the candidate.
• The JEE Mains-qualified candidates will be given admission through DTE Counselling. However, those students who have not qualified/appeared in JEE Mains are admitted to the program based on their merit in 10+2 through DTE Counselling.
• Please remember that SIRT also gives direct admission to eligible candidates through College Level Counselling conducted by SIRT as per the instructions of DTE, MP.

Eligibility for M.Tech Admission

• The minimum qualification required to apply for the M.tech Program is B.E/B.Tech/M.C.A. The candidate must have a B.Tech/B.E/M.C.A degree obtained from a recognized University.
• The candidate must have scored a minimum of 60% of the aggregate score in the B.E/B.Tech/M.C.Examinations.
• Admission to the M.Tech program will be based on your GATE Score and marks obtained in graduation exams. The final selection will be done through DTE Counselling.

Eligibility For MBA Admission 

• The MBA program has a seat intake of 60.
• The candidate must have completed his/her graduation in any subject with at least 60% marks, and the degree must be obtained from a recognized university. 
• Admissions to the M.B.A course are given through the MET entrance exam conducted by Vyapam. CMAT-qualified candidates are also eligible for admission to the M.B.A course.
•  The qualifying candidates have to go through DTE Counselling.

Eligibility for MCA Admission

• MCA Program has a seat intake of 60.
• The candidate must have a Graduation (Bachelors) degree in any discipline with Mathematics as a mandatory subject in 10+2 and graduation.
• The Admission in MCA is offered on the basis of a Pre-MCA testTuitionWaiver conducted by Vyapam. The qualifying candidates have to go through DTE Counselling.

Application Process of Sagar Institute of Research and Technology, Bhopal:

To gain admission to the Sagar Institute of Research and Technology, the candidates need to apply for DTE counseling conducted through MP online. Please remember that the students must fulfill the eligibility requirements before applying for DTE Counselling.

1. Visit the official website of DTE Online)- https://www.mponline.gov.in/portal/

2. A window will appear. Now click on the link “Online Counselling Registration.”

3. Select the course you want to apply for.

4. Click on the “counseling” link.

5. Enter the required details like Name, D.OB, Mobile no., Email address, etc., and complete the registration process.

6. Upload the scanned files of required documents for verification.

• Birth certificate - Proof of nationality
• Marksheets of all the examinations (10th and 12th) 
• A valid entrance exam scorecard (GATE, PGCET, EAMCET, CEEP)
• Passport Size Photograph
• Aadhar Card

7. Fill up your choices and lock it.

8. Now complete the application process by paying the counseling registration fee using net banking, debit card, or credit card.

9. You will receive notifications related to DTE counseling on the registered mobile number or email address.

10. After a successful seat allotment, visit the reporting center to complete the admission formalities.

Sagar Institute of Research and Technology supports the dreams and ambitions of the students and provides various Tuition Fee Waiver scholarships to the students based on the following:

2. Student's performance in JEE Mains or any other equivalent examination

3.  Students merit-score in the last qualifying examination

Students who want to apply for scholarships based on any of these criteria can visit the administration office and fill out the scholarship application form, or they can apply online. Please note that students who claim to fall under the category of low-income category must have proof of income less than Rs 4.5 L.P.A,  as the college verifies the details provided by the student. Students can collect them from there and submit them after filling in all the necessary details.
