Eligibility criteria

• Students must qualify for the Class 12 exam from a recognized Board with Physics, Chemistry, and Maths as the compulsory subjects.
• Students must get a minimum of 45% marks in the Class 12 exams(SC/ST candidates must get 40% marks).
• Students must get a valid score in the JEE(Mains) exam.

M.Tech (2 Years)

Streams - Computer Science and Engineering, Thermal Engineering, Power electronics, and power systems, Construction Technology and Management, VLSI, Electronics and Communication, Digital Communication).

Eligibility criteria

• Students must qualify for the BE/BTech exam from a recognized Institute with 50% aggregate(45% for SC/ST and MP Domicile candidates).
• Candidates must get a valid score in the GATE exams.

Medical Sciences (MBBS, MD/MS, Ph.D. in Medical Science)

Eligibility criteria

• Students applying for MBBS courses must get a valid score in the NEET exams. Aspiring candidates must get at least 50% marks in Class 12 exams with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as the compulsory subjects.
• Students applying for MD/MS must qualify for their MBBS program with a 55% aggregate.

Paramedical Sciences (Diploma in Yoga, Naturopathy, DPharma)

Eligibility criteria

•  Students must qualify for the Class 12 Board exams from a recognized Institute with 45% marks and Physics, Chemistry and Biology as the compulsory subjects.
• Students who want to apply for the MPT courses must qualify for the BPT degree with a minimum aggregate of 50%.
• Students who want to apply for the MMLT courses must have a BMLT Degree with a minimum aggregate of 50%.

Commerce and Economics (B.Com, B.Com Hons, MCom, MPhil)

Eligibility criteria

• Students must qualify for their Class 12 exams from a recognized Board with Commerce or Science.
• Students applying for M.Com must have a B.Com degree from a recognized University.
• Students applying for the M.Phil program must have an M.Com degree from an approved Institute.
• Students who want to apply for Ph.D. programs in Commerce must have an M.Com degree with a minimum aggregate of 55%.

Hotel Management (BHMCT, MHMCT, BBA, Diploma)

Eligibility criteria

• Students who want to apply for a Bachelor's Degree must qualify for their Class 12 exams from a recognized Institute with a minimum aggregate of 45%(40% marks for reserved category candidates).
• Students who want to apply for a Master's Degree in Hotel Management must qualify for the Bachelor of Hotel Management course with a minimum aggregate of 45% (40% for the reserved category candidates).
• Students who want to apply for BBA and Diploma courses must qualify for their Class 12 exams from a recognized Board with 45% aggregate(40% for the reserved category). Physics, Chemistry, and Biology are the compulsory subjects in Class 12 Board exams.

Pharmacy (Diploma, DPharma, MPharma, Ph.D. Pharmacy)

Eligibility criteria

• Students applying for the Diploma and Bachelor’s Degree must qualify for the Class 12 exams with Science and have a minimum aggregate of 45%(40% in case of reserved category).
• Students who want to apply for Masters's Degree in Pharmacy must have a minimum aggregate of 55% in Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy.
• Students who want to apply for Ph.D. courses in Pharmacy must qualify for the MPharma course with a minimum aggregate of 55%. They must get a valid score in any of the entrance exams GPAT, UGC/CSIR-NET.

Humanities (BA, MA, Ph.D.)

Eligibility criteria

• Students applying for a Bachelor’s degree must qualify for the Class 12 exams from a recognized Institute in any stream. Students applying for Psychology must have English as the compulsory subject in Class 12 Board exams.
• Students applying for the Masters's Degree must complete their Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant subject from a recognized Institute.
• Students applying for the Doctorate programs must have their MA or MPhil Degree from a recognized Institute with a minimum aggregate of 55%. They must also qualify for the CSIR-NET/UGC-NET.

Architecture (B.Arch)

Eligibility criteria

• Students must qualify for their Class 12 Board exams from a recognized Institute with Physics, Chemistry, and Maths as the compulsory subjects.
• Students must have a valid score in JEE(mains)-Paper II and NATA.

Management (BBA, MBA, M.Phil, Ph.D.)

Eligibility criteria

• Students must qualify for class 12 Board exams in any stream.
• BBA( Business intelligence and analytics) candidates must qualify for class 12 Board exams in any stream with 50% aggregate.
• Students applying for the MBA courses must qualify for a Bachelor's Degree in any stream.
• Students applying for the M.Phil courses must have a valid MBA or M.Com Degree from a recognized Institute.
• Students applying for the Ph.D. program must have a valid MBA or M.Com or PGDM  degree. Students who have appeared for a 5-year integrated course with 50% marks are also eligible.

Law (BA LLB, BBA LLB, LLB, LLM, PhD)

Eligibility criteria

• Students must qualify for Class 12 Board exams from a recognized Institute with 45% marks(42% for the reserved candidates).
• Students appearing for LLB courses must qualify for the Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized Institute with 45% marks(42% for reserved candidates).
• Students applying for LLM must have at least 55% aggregate in a Bachelor of Law course.
• Students applying for a Ph.D. program must have at least 55% aggregate in LLM.

Information Technology(BCA, MCA, B.Sc in IT, M.Sc in IT, Ph.D. in Computer Applications).

Eligibility criteria

• For the BCA course, the students must qualify the Class 12 exams with Physics, Chemistry, and Maths as the compulsory subjects.
• For the MCA course, the students must have a valid BCA degree.
• For the M.Sc(IT) course, students must have B.Sc in Computer Science or Information Technology.
• Students appearing for the M.Phil course must have an MCA degree or M.Sc degree in CS or IT.
• Students who want to apply for the Ph.D. program must have a valid MCA or M.Sc (CS/IT) from a recognized Institute with a 55% aggregate. Students must also have a valid score in GATE exams or they must qualify for the UGC-NET/CSIR-NET program.

Journalism and mass communication(BJMC, MJMC, Ph.D.)

Eligibility criteria

• Students must pass their Class 12 Board exams from a recognized Institute in any stream with a 45% aggregate.
• For the Master's Degree, students must pass the Bachelor’s Degree with 50% marks.
• Students applying for the Ph.D. program must complete their Masters in Journalism and Mass Communication from a recognized Institute with 50% marks.

• For Diploma In Fashion Designing the candidate must pass Class 10 Board exams.
• For Diploma in videography, the candidates must pass the Class 10 Board exams with 35% marks and Physics, Chemistry and Maths as the compulsory subjects.

Postgraduate courses

• For the MCA course, the candidate must qualify the Bachelor’s Degree with 50% marks and Maths as the compulsory subject in Class 12 Board exams.
• For the MBA course, the candidate must qualify the bachelor’s degree from an approved Institute with a 50% aggregate.
• For the MTech courses, the candidates must qualify BTech in the relevant stream with 50% marks and have 2 years of work experience.

LNCT Group of Colleges hostels:

The Laxmi Narayan College of Technology campus is spread over a vast area and is equipped with all the modern amenities. There are separate hostel facilities for the outstation students of the LNCT Group of Colleges and the accommodation is provided on the basis of merit. The hostels have 497  AC and non-AC rooms with all the necessary facilities.

Both the boys and the girl's hostel of LNCT is located within the main campus. The hostel rooms are well furnished and have 24-hour water and electricity. The hostel washrooms are hygienic and there are provisions for both hot and cold water.

The hostels have a mess serving healthy and nutritious vegetarian food to the students. There is also a common room with a television for the recreation of the students. The hostel rooms are clean and airy and are available on a sharing basis. High-speed internet service is also available in the hostel.

LNCT Group of Colleges hostel provides round-the-clock medical facilities for the students. There is a dispensary within the campus and a registered Practitioner visits the campus twice a week.

There is a state of art gymnasium for fitness enthusiast students and an Instructor is present to guide the students on their exercise regimes and healthy diet plans. The Institute also has sports facilities with a football ground, basketball court, volleyball court and indoor games.

• Strict actions will be taken against students who engage in any kind of ragging activity.
• Students must keep the hostel rooms neat and tidy.
• Strict disciplinary actions will be taken against students who fail to follow the hostel regulations.
• Students must not carry outside food within the hostel premises.
• Students are advised to maintain a peaceful environment within the hostel premises and loud music or noise will not be tolerated.
• Hosteliers must not go out to the city without prior permission and approval of the hostel warden.
