Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology is situated in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. It was established in 1960. The institute is named after the first Education Minister of independent India Maulana Abul Kalam Azad mostly known as Maulana Azad. Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology became NIT (National Institute of Technology) in 2002.

Library
The Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology’s library is known as the central library. It is one of the biggest libraries in Bhopal. The library is filled with almost 1,14,694 books. There is a book bank for SC, ST, and General of almost 25,000+ books. The library has 3,986 videos and 2,044 CDs. 9 current periodicals, 15 newspapers and 12,100 journals are present in the library.
Dispensary
The institute has its own dispensary facility for students and staff. The dispensary is open all days (Except National Holidays), the timings are different.

The Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology has 9 boys hostel and 1 girls hostel. A new hostel with a capacity of 350 students is in progress for NRI students.
Boys Hostel: Boys hostels have single occupancy rooms and shared rooms. There are a total of 3,585 beds in the boy's hostel. The hostel is in the campus area only. The single-occupancy rooms charges are 46,000 which includes Water & Electricity bill and Maintenance. For triple occupancy rooms, the charges are 36,000 including Water & Electricity bill and Maintenance.
Girls Hostel: There are 731 beds in the girl's hostel with single occupancy and shared occupancy. The girl's hostel is located inside the campus area only. For triple occupancy rooms, the charges are 36,000 including Water & Electricity bill and Maintenance.
