The R P Sharma Institute of Technology is an Engineering and Management college that was established in the year 1980 and is affiliated with the Aryabhatta Knowledge University. The Institute is located in Patna, Bihar, and was established by the late Professor R P Sharma who is a founder of the Patna educational trust.

The Institute was initially known as the Patna Institute of Technology but was later renamed the R P Sharma Institute of Technology. The Institute has been approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) and is recognized by the Science and Technology Department, Government of Bihar.

R P Sharma Institute of Technology is an Engineering Degree college that offers BTech programs in different disciplines. Besides this, the Institute has also introduced 3-year Diploma courses in Engineering and Management courses.

 The main objectives of this Institute can be summarized as follows:

The infrastructure of R P Sharma Institute of Technology, Bihar

The R P Sharma Institute of Technology has a well-built infrastructure with all the modern facilities. The campus has a huge and green area and provides a favorable environment for the students. The Institute is located in one of the prime areas of Patna and has connectivity with all the important places.
