National Institute of Technology, Patna established in 2004 formerly known as Bihar School of Engineering and Bihar College of Engineering is public research institution which is located in Patna in the Indian state of Bihar. NIT Admission Process 2024
NIT Patna offers 15 courses at undergraduate and postgraduate courses. NIT Patna admission 2024 is mostly through entrance exam. NIT Patna offers various undergraduate and postgraduate and integrated courses in Engineering and Science streams.
Candidates need valid scores on national-level entrance tests. The flagship course of the NIT Patna is BTech which admits the student based on the JEE Mains scores. B.Arch is another interesting and unique course of NIT Patna which is offered by only 6 NIT’s out of 31 total NIT’s in India.

- B.Tech in Civil Engineering- Eligibility- Candidates must have passed 10+2 ( or equivalent) with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
- B.Tech in Computer Engineering- Eligibility- Candidates must have passed 10+2 ( or equivalent) with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.

For Undergraduate programs, admission is usually based on the performance in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main and JoSAA counseling , and candidates need to meet the JEE Main eligibility criteria as set by the conducting authority.

Placements Offered by NIT, Patna
