Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology Allahabad was established in the year 1961 as a joint enterprise of Govt. of India and Govt. of Uttar Pradesh. It was established as the 17th regional university of India and was an associated college of University of Allahabad which is one of the oldest institute INDIA.

It was also associated with AKTU for a very short period of time (from 2000-2002). On June 26, 2002, MNRC was transformed into National Institute of Technology by the government of INDIA. The vision of MNNIT is to establish and develop in the field of technical education and prove to be the best among a heap of colleges.

The mission of the college is to provide the best quality of education to the young minds and provide them with an opportunity to develop their minds so that they can do well to the society and country and prove to be an asset. The college has proved itself as the best in providing the best quality of education through the support of the excellent quality faculty and their proper guidance.

The college has proved to be the best in all aspects be it studies or sports or cultural events. They have provided all sort of facilities to their students. Some of the facilities are mentioned below :

CENTRAL LIBRARY:-

The library is considered as the temple of learning where the staff and the students can learn many things and develop and research. The library has a huge collection of over 1,04,382 books which provide a wide variety of information for those who have an interest in learning and research. It serves as the nerve centre of the institution by keeping the information of faculty and students updated.

Computer Centre:-

The computer centre helps in providing all the computer-related facilities like Email, web, DNS, FTP. The computer centre provides facilities at any time all over the day. Computer centre provides advance and special purpose software to all the students.
