Manav Rachna University Admission Process 2025-24:

Manav Rachna University is one of the best Private Universities in Haryana. This University is accredited by AICTE and NBE. The admission to the University is completely an online process and the admission criteria is based on the merit of the students and their performance in the entrance exams.

MRU offers courses in different disciplines of Engineering, Management, Humanities, Law, Allied Sciences and Education. These courses are available in the form of undergraduate, postgraduate and Doctorate programs. Aspiring candidates must check the eligibility criteria before applying for their desired courses. The application forms of the non eligible candidates will be rejected by the authorities.

Undergraduate courses

Admission to BTech courses are based on the scores of JEE(Mains)/SAT/MRNAT/Uni Gauge exams.
Admission to BTech(Lateral entry), BEd and BSc courses are based on merit and score of the MRNAT exam.
Admission to Management courses are on merit and scores of SAT/MRNAT exams.
Admission to the Law courses are on qualifying marks of Class 12 exams and the scores of CLAT/SAT/MRNAT exams.

Post graduate courses

Admission to the MTech courses are based on the scores obtained in the GATE exams.
Admission to the Law courses on marks scored in Graduation and score of MRNAT exam.

Doctorate courses

Eligible candidates are selected on the basis of entrance test and interview by MRU.
NRI candidates can apply for the PhD programs by complying with the guidelines set by the Government of India.
Candidates who have cleared the UGC NET/UGC-CSIR NET/SLET/GATE/MPhil need not appear for the written exam.

Final selection to all the courses at the Manav Rachna University is based on the merit of the candidate.

Steps for admission to MRU

Go to the official website of Manav Rachna University.
Download the Application form from the Homepage of the authorities.
Fill in the necessary details of the Application form.
Upload your digitized photograph having the following dimensions 80KB memory and 35mm*40mm size. Formal dress and plain background are the essential features of the photograph.
Upload scanned copies of Class 10 and Class 12 marksheets.
Pay the required application fee of INR 1200 via credit card/debit card/net banking/e wallet.
Submit the Application form after checking all the details.
Take a few print outs of the Application form for future counselling process.

Certificate of Class 10 exam.
Marksheet of Class 12 exam.
Marksheets/Degree/Diploma/Provisional Certificate of qualifying exam.
Result of entrance exam.
Medical fitness certificate.
Character certificate
Migration Certificate
Residence proof(Aadhar card or ration card)
Certificate for ex defence personnel ward.
Affidavit of family income attested by Notary public
Caste Certificate (in case of SC/ST/OBC/Others)
Undertaking of the Anti ragging format by the candidate and parents. The format is available on the official website of MRU.

Reservations for special category candidates

15% seats of MRU are reserved for NRI/Foreign Nationals.
Out of the remaining 85% candidates, 25% seats are reserved for Haryana domicile candidates and 10% seats are reserved for the SC candidates of Haryana.
For each course one seat is reserved for Kashmiri migrants on merit basis.

Manav Rachna University offers many scholarship programs based on merit of the students or their scores in the entrance exams. These scholarships are mostly in the form of tuition fee waiver which may include a 100%, 50% or 25% waiver depending upon the scores of the students.

Other scholarships of Manav Rachna University

25% tuition fee waiver to the wards of the employees of Manav Rachna University.
10% tuition fee waiver to the sibling (brother/sister) of the student enrolled in MRU.
5% tuition fee waiver to single girl child/wards of defence personnel/Paramilitary forces.

Please note-

Scholarships in the form of tuition fee waiver will be given to the students who have been achievers in the sports category.

Scholarships will be awarded to physically handicapped students and wards of martyred army personnels.

Merit scholarships for students securing the 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions in the odd even semester exams every year.
