MSIT DELHI ADMISSION PROCESS 2025-24:

 B.Tech Eligibility Criteria

1. The age limit to apply for B.tech admission is 21 years. A candidate must be within 21 years of age.
2. Candidates must have passing marks in the 10+2 CBSE board examination or any other equivalent examination from any recognized board.
3. The candidate must have done their 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Maths as the main subjects.
4. Candidates who have completed their 10+2 from a distance learning program are also eligible to apply in MITS Delhi, However, they need to have some documented proof of that.
5. The candidate must have to score an aggregate of 55%in the main subjects in their 10+2 examinations.

Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology (MSIT, Delhi) B.Tech Admission Criteria

1. Candidates must have a JEE Mains scorecard, they must have appeared for the JEE Mains entrance examination conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA)
2. The candidates will be shortlisted via online counseling
3. The admissions will be offered on the basis of scores in JEE Mains examination.
4. To take admission in B.Tech Lateral, the candidates need to appear in the IPU CET examination.

Please note that candidates to be selected through CET will then be referred to an offline counseling session where admission will be granted on the basis of merit.

Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology (MSIT, Delhi) B.Tech (lateral) after B.Sc

1. Students who have completed their graduation in  B.Sc can apply for lateral entry in the B.Tech course by applying for the IPU CET entrance examination conducted by Indraprastha University.
2. Students can get a direct entry in 2nd year or 3rd year of the B.Tech program by qualifying IPU CET test of code 131.

MSIT Delhi , Application Process

• To apply for admission in Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology (MSIT, Delhi)  B.Tech Course click here, a menu will appear, at the bottom, there is an option "start", Accept all the terms and conditions and click on the start button.
• A drop-down menu will appear with some options, select non-CET UG, this option is for those who want to apply for B.Tech with JEE mains result. Select the course B.Tech.
• Enter all the details required like email, mobile no. , name, etc. after registering yourself, you will receive a confirmation email. in that mail, you will also receive your login ID and password, save them.
• Login using id and password, and fill in the details required in the application form. Enter the eligibility information, personal details, qualification details, your digital scanned photograph and signature in the required format.
• Complete the application process by paying the application fee of Rs 1200 using any net banking mode, Debit card or Credit Card.
• After a successful payment, you will receive a payment confirmation message or email, save the page or take a screenshot, and you are done.

MITS DELHI COUNSELLING

• Candidates applying to take admission through CET will be shortlisted through offline counseling sessions. A total of three counseling rounds shall be conducted by the authorities which is later followed by Spot counseling. Candidates must have to pay a sum of INR 2000 as a fee for spot-counseling. 
• The counseling center venue and schedule along with the venue and list of colleges will be announced a week before the counseling on the official website.
• The candidates must attend the counseling at the venue on the same date and time. There will be a meeting in person and document submission.
• The candidate needs to pay Rs 1000 to enter the counseling session. 
• The candidates will be called as per the order of their merit and rank. If the candidate gets failed to turn up when called up during counseling, it can lead to immediate disqualification. Please note that the counseling fee is non-refundable.
• Candidates will be allotted the seat during the counseling, and to ensure the acceptance of the seat the candidate needs to pay a fee of Rs 40,000 to freeze the spot. In case of failure to do so, the seat will get forfeit.

MSIT DELHI RESERVATION POLICY:

• Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology (MSIT, Delhi) has a reservation policy, 85% of its seats are reserved for the students of Delhi Region, in other words, Delhi resident students are benefited in this policy laid out by MSIT, Delhi. If the candidate has passed his/her 10+2 or graduated from any college or school located in the Delhi NCR region, then they will be given more preference during admission. 
• 15%of the seats have an intake of candidates from outside of Delhi
• The candidates who belong from SC/category will be allowed a 5% reduction in minimum marks required for eligibility
• Ward of Defense and Specially abled candidates will also be offered a 5% reduction in minimum marks that are required to be eligible.
• 7.5% of Delhi region seats are reserved for Delhi region ST/SC category candidates
•  7.5% of Outside Delhi region candidate seats are reserved for Outside Delhi region ST/SC category candidates in Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology (MSIT, Delhi)
