The minimum eligibility criteria for these programs are the candidates must have scored a minimum of 50% in their 10+2 examination and they should have PCB as their subject in 10+2. If one qualifies for these criteria, one is eligible to apply for the UG program in the HIMSR.
For the postgraduate level, HIMSR offers MS/MD in 3 specializations; and M.sc in 3 specializations. To do the post-graduation in any of the specializations in HIMSR, one needs a graduation degree in the relevant field.
As far as post-doctoral research is concerned, HIMSR offers Ph.D. in 7 research fields.

Important Points Related To Admission
- Those who are looking forward to taking admission in MBBS, MD & MS courses at both the UG & PG level in HIMSR need to qualify for the NEET Entrance Exam.
- The competent authorities from the center will be responsible for the allotment of admission through counseling.
- For admissions to the courses like B.sc., BPT & BOT, neet marks will be taken with scrutiny.
- Candidates who want to take admitted to Diploma courses will have to qualify for the exam & the interview round.
- Candidates have to qualify for the entrance examination conducted by HIMSR for the other PG & Ph.D. courses.
- The candidates will be shortlisted for admission based on their merit in both the test/interview round.
- For UG students, PCB as the subjects in their 10+2 exam is mandatory to be eligible for admission.

Hostel Facility is provided to both male & female students at Hamdard Institute Of Medical Sciences & Research in Delhi. Fully furnished single & double bedrooms are available in the hostel. All the rooms are Air- Conditioned.
The candidates have to apply for the hostel to take admitted to the hostel. Admission to the hostel is different from admission to the HIMSR.
