Admission Process for PGDRM

The admission process for the PGDRM program at IRMA consists of the following stages.

  1. CAT Examination- Candidates are required to appear for the Common Admission Test (CAT 2022) conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs). IRMA uses the CAT 2022 score as one of the criteria for shortlisting candidates.

  2. IRMA Application- Candidates need to separately apply to IRMA by filling out the application form available on the official IRMA website. The application form requires candidates to provide personal and academic details, work experience (if any), and a statement of purpose.

  3. IRMASAT- Shortlisted candidates are invited to appear for the IRMA Social Awareness Test (IRMASAT). The IRMASAT is an online test that assesses candidates' awareness and understanding of rural issues, social dynamics, and socio-economic problems. It also evaluates their analytical and communication skills.

  4. Personal Interview (PI)- Candidates who clear the IRMASAT are called for the Personal Interview (PI) rounds. The PI assesses the candidate’s ability to articulate their thoughts, problem-solving skills, and their fit with IRMA's mission and values.

  5. Final Selection- The final selection is based on the candidates' performance in CAT, IRMASAT, and PI rounds. The overall profile, including academic achievements, work experience, extracurricular activities, and diversity, is also taken into consideration. The selected candidates are offered admission to the PGDRM program.
