Sarvajanik University is a private state university established by the University under Gujarat Private Universities Act No. 8 of 2009 and amendment of Gujarat Private Universities Act No. 15 of 2021.

Sarvakjanik University is based on an integrated, inclusive, and Innovative approach. To guide, mentor and educate the youth of the nation. Sarvajanik University is established by the Sarvajanik Education Society. The Sarvajanik Education Society is a 109-year-old, democratically run, philanthropic society There are in total of 8 schools Arts, Business, Commerce, Architecture and Design, Engineering, Law and Management, Science and Engineering, Law and Management, Science, and Humanities.

Sarvajanik University is approved by the reputed UGC, AICTE, and AIU. Management of Sarvajanik University is approved by the UGC, AIU, SIRO, and AICTE. There are in total of 30+ courses offered and over 1000+ students. Courses offered by the institute include a Diploma Degree i.e. Diploma in Computer Science Engineering, a Diploma in Chemical Engineering, an Undergraduate Degree i.E Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering (Lateral Entry), a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Civil Engineering, a Postgraduate Degree i.e Master of Technology (M.Tech) in Computer Science and Engineering, etc.
