The Institute of Management Studies was started in the year 1990 and is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). IMS ranked among the Top 10 best colleges. It has earned a reputation for providing the best education in the field of management and computer application education.

The college is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education and (Master of Computer Application) affiliated with Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow. All the faculty members and administrations are a prominent part of the success of IMS.

The library has a rich collection of 26,000 books, journals, and newspapers. A separate study is available for debate. The college has a large auditorium with a fully air-conditioned environment. Healthy and hygienic food is available in the cafeteria.

Labs are an important part of the curriculum of all courses. There are well-established computer labs for all students. All Computers are connected through a Local Area Network (LAN).
