Many Private Institutes offer admission to the B.Tech program on the basis of marks obtained in the Class 12 exams. Candidates applying for B.Tech admission to Private Engineering Colleges need not always sit for any Engineering Entrance Exam and can apply for direct admission to these Colleges.
Some Private Colleges offer admission to the candidates on the basis of Management Quota seats. Management Quota seats are meant for those candidates who could not clear the Entrance exams or have not appeared for any B.Tech Entrance Exams.
This special provision is available in top Private Engineering Colleges and candidates can apply for direct admission in B.Tech on the basis of 12th marks. Usually, 15% to 25% of the seats are reserved under Management Quota.
