Bihar Student Credit Card Yojana: The Bihar B.Tech Student Credit Card Yojana aims at providing financial support to college students who are just starting with their careers in engineering. Provides the banking facility with reasonable and affordable terms and conditions.

Students who have cleared their class 12th and fall under the Government of Bihar, and are unable to get admission in higher education because of financial constraints. The government of Bihar launched the Bihar Student Credit Card Scheme in Bihar only.

It was introduced on 2nd October 2016. The Bihar government is taking initiative for bridging the gap between the gross enrollment ratio in Bihar and with the other parts of India. They want to ensure that students will not stop studying because of a lack of finances.

Bihar B.Tech Student Credit Card Yojana: Highlights

Eligibility Criteria of Bihar Student Credit Card for B.Tech Students

These are the eligibility criteria that have to be satisfied by the students who are applying for the Bihar B.Tech Student Credit Card Yojana:

• The student must be an Indian.
• The student should be a resident of Bihar.
• Students have to complete their class 12th. 
• The age limit for the BSCC Yojana is 25 years. 
• Seek higher education from any authorized institute and complete the entire higher education course.

In addition, students have to prove their eligibility with the documents like 10th and 12th class mark sheet, id proof, address proof, pan card, aadhaar card, proof of admission in the authorized institute for higher education, bank statement, income certificate along with form 16. If any student does not fall under these eligibility criteria then he/she will not be able to apply for the BSCC Yojana.

Eligible Institute: education institutes have to be recognized by the concerned regulatory boards of the Bihar Government, central government, or state government.

Eligible Course: Financial Courses, General Courses (non-technical), and Technical Courses (BSc, B.Com, B.Tech, MA, M.Com, MBBS, M.Tech, MCA, BCA, etc).

How to Apply for a Bihar Student Credit Card (BSCC)?

To apply for a Bihar B.Tech Student Credit Card Scheme, students must be eligible. If students match the eligibility criteria of the scheme they can apply for it through online mode. If a student is a resident of Bihar and completed his/her class 12th and falls under the age of 25 years and looking to pursue higher education from a recognized university can proceed with the BSCC. 

The process of applying for it is divided into two steps. First, you have to do registration on the official website of the Bihar Government education department.

After your information is verified you can fill the application form for BSCC Yojana. Follow these steps to apply for it:

• To apply visit the official website of the Bihar Government Education Department
• Select the option of New Applicant Registration and fill it as a new applicant
• Fill in all the required details and click on the Send OTP option
• You will receive the OTP on your registered mobile number or email id after receiving you have to enter the OTP and click on the Submit button
• After getting registered on the website, you have to go back to the Home Page of the website
• Now log in with the help of your credentials received on the email or SMS
• Set a new password and log in with your unique password
• Fill in the details and click on the submit button to move further in the application process
• Now select the option of Bihar Student Credit Card Yojana from the select scheme menu
• Enter your personal details carefully in the application form and co-applicant (if any)
• After filling in all the required details in the form click on the submit button
• To make sure that you have applied for it, officials will send you an email that you got registered for this Yojana

Required Documents for Bihar Student Credit Card

Students can finance their Bachelor’s degree in the Computer Application stream with the help of the BSCC for the BCA Course.

Bihar MBA Student Credit Card Yojana:
