National Thermal Power Corporation Limited (NTPC) had invited the candidates for filling the online application form for the recruitment of assistants, associates & assistant managers posts. Only Indians are eligible to apply for NTPC Engineer Posts. The selection of candidates for the post of Assistant and Associate will be done based on region-wise merit. On the other hand, the recruitment for the post of Assistant Manager will be finalised based on All-India merit. Candidates can apply only for the vacancy from only one state. The only online application is accepted by the authority.

NTPC Engineer Admit Card 2024:

We know that the admit card is a very important document for all candidates. It comprises necessary information relevant to the exam and candidates such as the Name of the candidates, exam centre, exam date and time etc. Candidates must have to carry the NTPC Engineer Hall Ticket 2024 at the exam centre. If they do have not the admit card then they will be allowed to enter the exam centre. Candidates should also carry any valid Identity card proof issued by the Government of India.

Download NTPC Admit Card 2024:

As per the official announcement, the NTPC Engineer Admit Card 2024 has not been uploaded by the Authority yet, but they will notify soon. Applicants can download the NTPC Engineer Hall Ticket 2024 before 15 days from the day of the exam day. A notification will be dropped via SMS and Mail on your registered Phone number and Email Id.

Applicants are recommended to visit the official site of the NTPC to check the latest updates. You will need the registration number and password for login to the account on the site to get the NTPC Admit card 2024. As soon as the authorization is issued the Admit card, it is recommended that candidates should download the Admit Card for the NTPC Examination 2024.

Interview Centres NTPC Engineer Exam:

•  The interview centres will be intimated to only shortlisted students via admit card. If they qualify in the first round then they will be called for the interview process for a later stage. 

NTPC Engineer Exam Pattern:

Here, we have written the exam pattern for the online examination. The questions will be of objective type. The time duration of the online examination will be a total of two hours.

• There is a separate online examination for Assistant,  Associate and Assistant Manager. It will be only in the English language. 
• There is a negative marking scheme for each incorrect answer. 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. 
• If no answer is given by the candidate then there will be no penalty for that question.

Remuneration Package:

• There are different salary packages for Assistant, Associate and Assistant Manager posts. 

Assistant: The basic pay of Assistant post in starting will of Rs 13,980/- per month in the scale of 13980-860(1)-14840-940(2)–16720-1060(5)–22024-1230(2)–24480-1500(3)–28980-1565(2)-32110. The other admissible allowance will be payable as per norms. There will be total emoluments of around Rs 23,870/- per month. (it may depend on the place of posts). Additionally, Gratuity,  Housing Loan, LTC, Group Insurance Scheme, Lunch Allowance, Provident Fund, Mediclaim, Performance Linked Incentive and other perks are given as per rules

Associate: The basic pay of Associate post in starting will of Rs 21,270/- per month in the scale of 21270-1485(3)–25725-1665(15)-50700. The other admissible allowance will be payable as per norms. There will be a total emolument of around Rs. 35,960/- per month. (it may depend on the place of posts). Additionally, Lunch Allowance, Provident  Fund, Mediclaim, Gratuity, LTC, Group Insurance Scheme, Housing Loan, Performance Linked Incentive and other perks are given as per rules

Assistant Manager: The basic pay of Associate post in starting will of Rs. 32,815/- per month with the increment scale of 32815 -1685(14) –56405 -1755(3) -61670. The other admissible allowance will be payable as per norms. There will be a total emolument of around Rs. 56,000/-per month. (it may depend on the place of posts). Additionally, Lunch Allowance, Provident  Fund, Mediclaim, Gratuity, LTC, Group Insurance Scheme, Housing Loan, Performance Linked Incentive and other perks are given as per rules

Assistant/Associate: There will be of 6 months probation period for Assistant and Associate profile from the date of joining which may be extended for a maximum period of 6 months. 

Assistant Manager: There is a one year probation period for the post of Assistant Manager. Before appointment as Assistant Manager, selected candidates will be trained as Management Trainees. The Salary of Rs 25,000 / - is to be paid during this training period. After the successful and adequate completion of the training period, candidates will be appointed as Assistant Manager.

Steps to Download NTPC Engineer Admit Card 2024:

Here, we are providing the procedure to download the NTPC Engineer Admit Card 2024 for the ease of students. The name of the exam centre, venue address, date and time for the online examination will be mentioned on the NTPC Engineer Admit Card 2024.  Note that, the authority will not provide any hard copy of the call letter/Information Handout etc. will be sent by post/courier.

• To download NTPC Engineer Hall Ticket 2024, candidates should visit the LIC  HFL’s website www.lichousing.com.
• Candidates can download their hall ticket by entering his/her details i.e.  Registration Number/Roll Number and Password/Date of Birth tentatively from 09.09.2024 onwards. 
• Notification will be sent on the registered mobile and email id to download the admit card. 

Important Documents Along with NTPC Engineer Admit Card:

The Candidate will have to appear at the online examination centre on the exam day along with the following documents. 

(i)  Call Letter (NTPC Engineer Hall Ticket 2024)

(ii) Any Government Photo Identity Proof as stipulated in the call letter and photocopy of the same Photo Identity Proof as brought in original. 

(iii) Valid ID Proof such as PAN Card/ Passport/Permanent Driving Licence/ Voter’s Card/ Bank Passbook with photograph/ Photo identity proof issued by a Gazetted  Officer
