According to our sources, the number of students who have registered for this examination is less than compared to last year. The statistics for the year 2025 was as close as up to 66.04 lakhs while the estimated student enrollment for the year 2025 is 57.9 lakhs which is nearly 8 lakhs less than the previous year enrollment. It should be noted that there is a significant dip in the list of students appearing as private candidates as compared to the previous year.

The current list shows that there are 23,944 candidates appearing as private candidates for class 10th examinations while the private candidates appearing for class 12th are 68,440. Last year list of private students from class 10th and class 12th was 1.1 lakh and 1.5 lakh respectively. The total no of candidates appearing for the UP 10th board is 32 lakh while the total no of candidates appearing for the UP 12th board is 25.8 lakh.

Up deputy chief minister Dinesh Aggarwal stated that the results will be announced until April 30th. He further stated that the examination schedule has been announced five months in advance, for students to get enough time to prepare. Blacklisted schools will not be fixed as examination centres while centre fixation will be done online.
