JSSC Jharkhand Constable Recruitment Application Fee 2025

JSSC Jharkhand Constable Recruitment Eligibility Criteria 2025

To apply for the post, the candidate should pass 10th grade from a recognized or accredited school or board. The candidates should be at least 18 years old and should not exceed 25 years old. As per the government rules, age relaxation is provided to the special-category candidates.

For OBC-1 and OBC-2 male candidates, the maximum age limit is 27 years. For OBC-1, OBC-2, and females, the maximum age limit is 28 years. The maximum age limit for SC/ST candidates is 30 years.

The maximum score of the exam is 300, and it consists of 200 questions. The exam consists of Paper 1 and Paper 2. For Paper 2, the students should answer 50 questions in Hindi, 25 marks in general knowledge, and 25 marks in numerical ability.

Procedure of Selection

1. The commission is conducting an OMR-based written examination. The examination is conducted in three different stages: physical efficiency, written examination, and medical examination.
2. For the written test, the candidates should answer objective-type questions. The candidates are awarded 3 marks for every correct answer, and one mark is deducted for every wrong answer.
3. For the physical test, different factors are accessed, such as height, chest, running capacity, etc. The minimum height requirement for men expected to belong to SC/ST is 160 cm. For SC/ST, the minimum height requirement is 155 cm. For female candidates, the minimum height requirement is 148 cm. The chest measurement should be 81 cm for everyone, except SC/ST candidates. For SC/ST, the minimum chest requirement is 79 cm. A running test is also conducted. The male candidates should be able to run 10 kilometers in 60 minutes. The female candidates should be able to run 5 kilometers in 40 minutes.
