CBSE Datesheet for Class 10th & 12th Board Exam is Released

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the Date sheet of Board examination for both 10th and 12th Standard. This year exam will begin from 15th Feb and end on 3rd April. To check the complete schedule read the article given below.  

CBSE has announced the date sheet of Class 10th and 12th Board examination. The examination will commence from 15th February 2019 and will conclude on 3rd April 2019. Exams for the 10th standard will start on 21st February and end on 29th March. Date sheet of board exams is released seven weeks before so that students can get enough time to prepare. Now, students can prepare in advance for their consecutive exams.

Exam Dates are organised in a way that they don’t clash with any competitive examination. During last year board examination the dates of Physics exam of 12th standard and JEE Mains exam date. Due to which the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) had to reschedule the examination.

The timing of the board examination is from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm. The answer sheet will be distributed at 10:00 am so that students can fill their details carefully without making any error. Students will get the question paper at 10:15 am. Fifteen minutes are given to students for reading the question paper meticulously.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has given choice of 40 vocational subjects to 12th class students while 15 are there of 10th standard students. The examination for vocational subject will be wrapped up in the start of board exam itself. These decisions are made on the basis of the statement announced by the Delhi High Court. The court stated that the  Delhi University should wait for the result including of re-evaluation of CBSE Board exams to release the cut off dates for admission in Undergraduate course.

The Controller of Examinations, Dr Sanyam Bhardwaj mentioned that while preparing the datesheet, the admission dates of Delhi University i.e DU were also considered. He added that results will be announced in the first week of June 2019.

The main subject exams are scheduled to be conducted in the month of March, 2019. Students have almost selected 30,000 combination from 240 subjects in both the standards i.e 12th and 10th.
