Staff Selection Commission works under the central government. Every year, it recruits eligible candidates for various posts on the basis of performance in the written exam and followed by document verification. Now, the commission has released the notification for various Junior Engineer posts in several disciplines. Applicants who fulfill the eligibility criteria can fill the SSC JE Application Form 2025 from August 2025 and the official notification will also be published on the same day.
Below you will see the tentative vacancy. Before filling out the online SSC JE Registration Form 2025, candidates should know the eligibility criteria for a particular profile. This recruitment exam will be conducted for Junior engineers (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, and Quantitative Survey & Contracts). The written exam will be computer-based (Online). Step 1: The authority will select the candidates on the basis of performance in the Written examination or Paper 1 (Objective Type). This exam will be held online mode (computer-based) that comprised of 200 marks.
Step 2: Once who qualifies in Paper 1 will be called for a Written examination or Paper 2 via sending the admit card. Paper 2 is a conventional type that comprises 300 marks and it will be held in an offline mode (Pen paper-based).
Important Point: There is no interview round after the examination. Candidates will be selected based on the marks secured in paper-1 and paper 2.
Note: There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks in Paper 1 for each incorrect answer.
