VITEEE Result Date 2024: The VITEEE 2024 Results will be available on the official website and candidates can check their scores in the exam with the help of VITEEE Result 2024.  Candidates can check the result online by logging in to the Vellore Institute of Technology website with their Registration number, date of birth, and password. The VITEEE Result will consist of the scores obtained by the candidates in the Vellore Institute of Technology Entrance Exam.

Candidates who qualify for the VITEEE Exams can appear for the counseling session organized by the Institute. The VITEEE Exam Result 2024 can only be downloaded online and no hard copies will be sent to the candidates. After downloading the Results, candidates must take a print of it and keep it safely for future use.

VITEEE Exam Result 2024

After the immediate declaration of the Result, the VITEEE cutoff marks for the different Institutes will be released. Candidates can check the minimum cut-off marks of the different Institutes and tally them with the scores obtained by them. This will help them to understand which VIT Institute they can apply to for the B.Tech course.

After the declaration of the VITEEE Exam Result 2024 and cut-off marks, the counseling session will take place at VIT Vellore and VIT Chennai through single window counseling. The counseling session will begin in June and will be conducted in offline mode.

Steps to Download the VITEEE Result 2024

• Go to the official website i.e. https://vit.ac.in/ of the Vellore Institute of Technology.
• Select the VITEEE Result 2024 link on the homepage.
• Enter your Application name and password.
• The Result will be displayed on the screen in PDF format.
• Download the Result and save it on your computer.
• Take a print of the Result for future use.
• Keep a copy of the Result till the admission process is over.

Preparation of the VITEEE Result 2024

The VITEEE Result will be based on the marks obtained by the candidates in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The VITEEE Exam is conducted in several sessions and the difficulty level of each session is different. Hence it is necessary for the normalization of marks to allot fair scores to all the candidates. The Vellore Institute of Technology follows the equipercentile scoring for the declaration of the VITEEE Result 2024.

VITEEE Scorecard 2024

The VITEEE Scorecard is the most important document in the VITEEE Exam Result. The scorecard is available in the online mode and consists of marks obtained by the candidate in the different sections. After downloading the scorecard from the VITEEE Result, candidates must check the cutoff list of the different colleges. Qualified candidates can then appear for the VITEEE Counseling session.

VITEEE Merit List 2024

The VITEEE Merit List will be declared by the authorities after the declaration of the VITEEE Result 2024. The Merit list will consist of the names of the candidates who have obtained the minimum cut-off marks for admission to the different Institutes of VIT. The candidates whose names feature in the Merit List will be called for the counseling process of the VITEEE Exams.

The Vellore Institute of Technology authorities will send an SMS to the registered mobile number of the candidates for participating in the counseling process. Candidates who will be given a unique VITEEE rank can appear for the counseling sessions.

The Merit List will be prepared after the declaration of the Results. The Merit list will contain the names of the candidates in descending order with candidates securing maximum marks at the top while candidates securing fewer marks at the lower end. The Merit list will contain the names of the candidates and the cut-off marks set by the VITEEE authorities.

VITEEE Counseling 2024

The Vellore Institute of Technology will conduct the counseling for the candidates selected in the VITEEE Exam. Candidates who will get the necessary rank and whose names feature in the Merit List of the VITEEE Exams will be called for the counseling process. The VITEEE Counseling will take place after the declaration of the VITEEE Result and will be held in offline mode. There will be 2 rounds of the VITEEE Counseling and the steps have been mentioned below.

• Candidates who are selected for the counseling process will receive an SMS on their registered mobile number.

• Selected candidates have to pay the compulsory fee of INR 50000 of which INR 10000 is the counseling fee and is non-refundable.

• The VITEEE Counseling is conducted in the offline mode and the selected candidates must appear for the counseling process.

• During the counseling session, the candidates must get their documents verified. Candidates must carry the following documents for verification.

1. VITEEE Admit Card 2024

2. Class 10 and 12 Marksheet and Certificate

3. Marksheet of the qualifying exam

4. VITEEE Rank Card

5. Caste category of the candidate

6. Domicile Certificate

• During the counseling session, candidates must fill in their choice of Colleges and courses. The seat allotment of the candidates will be based on the ranks secured by the candidates in the VITEEE Exams 2024 and the availability of seats in the Colleges. 

• Once candidates have been allotted seats in specific colleges, it cannot be changed under any circumstance.

Important factors that will determine the eligibility of the candidates for the VITEEE counseling

• Candidates who secure VITEEE ranks between 1 and 99999 will be eligible for admission to the different campuses of the Vellore Institute of Technology.
• These rank holders will be eligible for admission to VIT- Vellore, Chennai, and Amaravati campuses.
• Candidates who secure ranks above 1,50000 will be eligible for admission to the VIT Bhopal campus only.
• The allotment of the VIT seats will depend on the All India Rank obtained by the candidate in the VITEEE exams.
• Candidates who are unable to attend the VITEEE counseling must notify the authorities beforehand or their seats will automatically be allotted to the next best candidate who qualified for the VITEEE Result 2024.

VITEEE Scholarship Criteria 2024

Vellore Institute of Technology offers scholarships in the form of tuition fee waivers for students. Eligible students, who have qualified for the VITEEE Exams can apply for the scholarship programs.
