UPCATET 2024: UPCATET is Uttar Pradesh Combined Agriculture and Technology Entrance Test. This entrance or competitive examination is conducted by Narendra Deva University of Agriculture and Technology, Ayodhya. The online exam of Uttar Pradesh CATET 2024 will be conducted for admissions into various courses such as Undergraduate, Post Graduate, and Ph.D. courses. The notification related to the examination will be released on the official website i.e., upcatet.org.

UPCATET is an abbreviation of the Uttar Pradesh Combined Agriculture and Technology Entrance Test. This is an entrance exam which is conducted to provide admission for different UG and PG programs offered by Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel University of Agriculture and Technology, Meerut; Chandra Shekhar Azad University of Agriculture & Technology, Kanpur; Narendra Deva University of Agriculture and Technology, Kumarganj, Faridabad; Banda University of Agriculture and Technology, Banda. The mode of the examination is offline while the medium of the exam is English and Hindi. UPCATET 2024 is tentatively scheduled for May 16 to 18, 2024. Time Duration of the exam is 3 hours and 2 hours.

UP combined agriculture and technology entrance test is an entrance exam conducted to provide admission in the Uttar Pradesh domicile states candidates in the various UG and PG programs offered at the Chandra Shekhar Azad University of Agriculture and Technology, Kanpur; Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel University of Agriculture and Technology, Meerut; Narendra Deva University of Agriculture and Technology, Kumarganj, Faridabad; Banda University of Agriculture and Technology, Banda. The UPCATET is a state-level exam that is conducted once a year. The UPCATET is off three hours duration and test mode is offline means the exam is conducted on paper, not on the computer.

Eligibility for UPCATET Exam 2024:

Before filling the application form applicants must check the eligibility criteria and all the aspirants have to submit their physical fitness certificate which is approved by a registered medical practitioner in the specified format which is mentioned on the official websites of UPCATET.

Age Limit:-

• For courses like BVS(Bachelor of Veterinary Science), and AH(Animal Husbandry), the minimum age limit is 17 years and maximum age is 23 years as on December 31, 2024.
•  5 years of relaxation for SC/ST and OBC candidates.
• For the other courses, the minimum age limit of the candidates is 16 years and maximum 22 years; and the relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST OBC candidates.

UPCATET Exam Centers 2024:-

The UPCATET 2024 Exam will be held in 7 cities which are Banda, Mahoba, Kanpur, Lucknow, Faizabad, Varanasi, and Meerut. There is a total of 22 centers across 7 cities of India. In the case of the unavailability of seats, the next exam center will be allotted for conducting the exam. The exam center which is once allotted will not be changed for further aspects. Candidates can get the name and address of their exam center by downloading the UPCATET Admit Card.

UPCATET Exam 2024 Form:

Candidates who are willing to apply to take admission in all the four agricultural universities can apply online mode by visiting the official website for the respective courses. Admission to the respective courses will be done on the basis of marks obtained in the entrance exam.

The admission process to take admission in all the four agriculture universities:

• The first candidate has to visit the official website and download the information brochure to know the eligibility criteria and the rest of the details etc
• Then fill the application form with the required personal details and submit the required fee for the respective course which is Rs 1250 for general and OBC candidates and Rs 1050 for the SC/ST Candidates
• After filling the application form, candidates are required to download the admit card for the entrance exam
• Next candidates are required to appear in the entrance test conducted by the authority
• After appearing in the examination, the candidate has to check out the result on the official website 
• If candidates are successful in the entrance exam, they have to appear in the UPCATET Counselling on the basis of merit. In the counselling session, candidates are allocated seats for the respective courses.
