UKPSC JE Exam 2025 Eligibility Criteria

The Uttarakhand Public Service Commission (UKPSC) has recently issued a notification for junior engineers in diverse departments, providing essential details outlined below: 

1. Citizenship: Must be a citizen of India.

2. Domicile: Should be a domicile of Uttarakhand.

3. Educational Qualification: Must have completed a Diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Agriculture Engineering from a recognized institute.

4. Age Limit: The age of candidates should be between 18 and 42 years as of July 1, 2025.

5. Trade/Branch: Possess an Engineering Diploma in the relevant trade or branch.

7. Tentative Exam District List: Exam centers include Almora, Champawat, Pithoregarh, Haldwani, Rudrapur, Khatima, Bageshwar, Shrinagar, Gopeshwar, New Tehri, Rudra Prayag, Uttar Kashi, Dehradun, Rishikesh, Haridwar, and Roorkee.

UKPSC JE Age Limit

The applicants' age cannot be more than 42 years old. The following lists the lower age limit for UKPSC JE positions across several departments.

1. Citizenship: Must be a citizen of India.

2. Tibetan refugees who permanently settled in India before January 01, 1962.

3. An Indian citizen who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, or the United Republic of Tanzania.

UKPSC JE Medical Fitness Criteria 2023

Only medically fit candidates are eligible to apply for the UKPSC JE examination. A medical test is conducted to ensure that the candidate is physically and mentally fit. The certification of medical fitness holds significant importance in the selection process of candidates.
