Every year Rajasthan Public Service Commission conducts a CCE (Combined Competitive exam) to recruit candidates for various posts in state services. The recruitment is based on the three-stage selection process which means the selection process is divided into three stages which are: Prelims, Mains, and Interview.

About RPSC RAS Mains 2024

According to the latest updates, RPSC has released a tentative exam schedule to recruit candidates for various posts in different categories. The candidates can also check the details on the official website of RPSC.

The prelims have already been held on 27th and 28th October 2024 and the result for RPSC Prelims 2024 was declared on 19th November 2024. Now the qualified candidates are eagerly waiting to appear in the RPSC RAS exam 2024. According to the RPSC RAS Exam calendar 2024, the RPSC RAS Mains is expected to be held on 25th February and 26th February 2024.

According to the RPSC Exam Calendar 2024, the RPSC RAS Exam will be held on 25th and 26th February 2024. The exam is being held to fill the 988 vacancies in the various departments of the Rajasthan Public Service Commission. Out of 988 vacancies, 363 vacancies are for state services whereas the rest of 625 vacancies are for subordinate services.

RPSC RAS Mains 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who are looking forward to appearing in RPSC RAS Mains 2024 exam must have to fulfill the RPSC RAS Mains 2024 eligibility criteria. In this article, you can find all the eligibility requirements that are mandatory to be fulfilled by the candidate to appear in the RPSC RAS Mains 2024 exam.

The candidate must have qualified for the RPSC RAS Prelims exam to appear in the RPSC Mains 2024 exam. This is the RPSC RAS Mains 2024 Eligibility Criteria. Also, the candidates must fulfill all the eligibility requirements as mentioned below in the RPSC RAS Prelims Eligibility Criteria. 

Preliminary Eligibility Criteria of RPSC RAS 2024

To appear RPSC RAS Prelims or RPSC RAS Mains exam, the candidate has to fulfill the eligibility criteria which are divided into three major parameters: Nationality, Age limit, and educational qualification. All the candidates need to ensure that he/she fulfills all the eligibility requirements.

It is imperative to ensure that you meet these eligibility criteria to avoid the rejection of the application or to avoid later disqualification. Even if an applicant appears for the exam and manages to clear it later if he/she is found to be ineligible then in such case he/she will be liable to be disqualified from the selection process. 

Age Limit For RPSC RAS Exam 2024

For gazetted posts:

• The candidates must be at least 21 years old as of 1 January 2024.
• The candidate must not be older than 40 years as of 1 January 2024.

For Non gazetted posts:

• The candidates must be at least 25 years old as of 1 January 2024.
• The candidate must not be older than 45 years as of 1 January 2024.

Nationality Eligibility Criteria for RPSC RAS Exam 2024

According to RPSC RAS Mains 2024 Eligibility Criteria, The applicant must be an Indian citizen. The candidates who do not hold citizenship of India or candidates who are NRIs will be not eligible to appear in the RPSC RAS exam. 

Note: The candidate who belongs to the state of Rajasthan and also has a domicile in Rajasthan will be given priority during the selection process.

Educational Qualification Required for RPSC RAS Exam 2024:

It is compulsory for all the candidates must be educationally qualified as per the given RPSC RAS Mains 2024 eligibility criteria:

• The candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in any field from any university which is incorporated by an Act of the Central Legislature or an Act of the State Legislature or from an institution established by an Act of Parliament or it must be recognized by the UGC (University Grants Commission)

OR

•  The candidate must have an equivalent qualification recognized by the government in consultation with RPSC.
• Candidates who have not completed their graduation but are currently appearing in the final year of their Bachelor's course are also eligible to apply for RPSC RAS Prelims. In such a case, the candidate needs to submit the final year mark sheet of his/her graduation to appear in the RPSC RAS Mains Exam.

The RPSC RAS Application Form for RPSC RAS 2024 was released on 4th August 2024. Candidates who have qualified for the RPSC RAS Prelims will now have to appear in the RPSC RAS Mains exam which is all set to be held on 25th and 26th February 2024.
