NTPC Exam Eligibility Criteria 2026

There are certain eligibility requirements for each post under NTPC which have to be fulfilled to be eligible for applying for the NTPC Recruitment. Eligibility varies according to different courses and one must check out the eligibility criteria once before applying for any of the posts and ensure that they fit into the eligibility requirements. Eligibility criteria for different posts have been mentioned below : 

Mining Overman 

Candidates must have a full-time, conventional mining diploma with a minimum of 60% from a recognized institution.

Mechanical Supervisor 

Candidates have a full-time, normal diploma in mechanical or production engineering with a minimum of 60% from a reputable institute.

Electrical Supervisor 

Candidates must have a full-time, regular Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering from a recognized institution with at least 60%

Vocational Training Supervisor 

Candidates must have a minimum of 60% in a diploma program in mining, electrical, or mechanical engineering from an institution approved by the central government.

Junior Mine Surveyor

Candidates must have a full-time, regular diploma in mining survey, mining engineering, mining, and mine surveying, or civil engineering from a recognized university with a minimum of 60%.

Mining Sirdar 

Candidates must have a valid Mining Sirdar certificate of competence for coal issued by the DGMS and a Matric 10th pass from an accredited board.
