MPSC Exam Pattern 2025

MPSC is the Maharashtra Public Service Commission exam and is conducted for the hiring of candidates in the various posts of the Maharashtra Government. The exam is held for the recruitment of the candidates for Civil Services jobs in the different Departments of Maharashtra like Engineering, Forestry, Administration, and Police.

MPSC Group C Exam Pattern for Mains Exam:

• The MPSC Group C exam pattern will consist of 2 papers- Paper I and Paper-II.
• Paper I consists of a Language test and Paper II consists of subject-specific matter.
• The time duration for each paper is 1 hour.
• For each correct answer, 1 mark will be allotted and for every wrong attempt, 0.25 marks will be deducted from the overall score.
• The medium of the exam will be in Marathi and English.

MPSC Group C Exam Pattern for Paper I and Paper II:

Speed Test for Typing (Clerk Typist, Tax Assistant)

Candidates who have applied for the post of Clerk Typist and Tax Assistant have to undergo a typing proficiency test. Candidates who have qualified the Prelims and the Mains round must appear for the typing proficiency test as a part of the selection criteria.

The typing speed requirements for the different posts are given as follows:

Tax Assistant

• Marathi typing speed-30 WPM
• English typing speed- 40 WPM

Clerk Typist

• Marathi typing speed- 30 WPM
• English typing speed- 40 WPM
