KPSC Exam 2026 Eligibility Criteria

It is required for every candidate to pass the eligibility criteria of the KPSC exam. If they wish to apply for the same. Here are the mentioned eligibility criteria have a look at them. 

Age Criteria 

This is the most important factor while applying for the KPSC Exam. And it is important to keep that in mind while applying. So, the minimum age to apply for the KPSC exam should be 21 years, and for the general category that is 31 years old. Meanwhile, there are some selected categories for which the age must be varied. So, here is the list of those you can have a look at.

Number of Attempts

In Karnataka that is an important category that complies number of attempts a candidate can make. Also, those are different for the different categories and those are provided you can look at the table below.

Educational Qualifications

Academic qualification is another important eligibility criterion for the Karnataka academic qualification. This is required for the candidate to fill out the minimum educational qualification if they wish to apply.

As per the minimum criteria of the KPSC 2026, the candidates need to qualify for a bachelor’s degree or master’s degree can work out well. This should be completed by a recognized university. 

Nationality 

Candidates who are applying for this job must be a citizen of India. If you are outside of Karnataka but live in India then you are also welcome for this post, but you just need to clear the Kannada examination and you need to be well aware of the language. As for these types of examinations, Kannada is an important language to know. 

Experience required for the KPSC Exam 

There is no experience required for the KPSC exam of the candidates of Group A but for the Group B candidates, it is required that they should be active probationers in any government departments.
