IOCL Exam 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Engineering Assistant (Mechanical) Grade-IV - 3 years of full-time Diploma (or 2 years through lateral entry after ITI of minimum 1-year duration) in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering from a Government recognized Institute with at least 55% marks.
Engineering Assistant (Electrical) Grade-IV 3 years of full-time, government-recognized diploma program in electrical/electrical and electronics engineering (or 2 years through lateral admission following ITI of at least 1 year) with a minimum of 55% marks
Engineering Assistant (T&I) Grade-IV A full-time diploma of three years (or two years through lateral entry after completing a minimum of one year of ITI) in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, Electronics & Radio Communication Engineering, Instrumentation & Control Engineering, Instrumentation & Process Control Engineering, or Electronics Engineering is required for this position. The diploma must be obtained from a government-recognized institute with a minimum of 55% marks.
Engineering Assistant (Operations) Grade-IV 3 years of full-time Diploma (or 2 years through lateral entry after ITI of minimum one-year duration) in Chemical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/Automobile Engineering/Electrical Engineering/Electrical & Electronics Engineering/Electronics & Communication Engineering/ Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering/Electronics & Radio Communication Engineering/Instrumentation & Control Engineering/ Instrumentation & Process Control Engineering/Electronics Engineering from a Government recognized Institute with at least 55% marks.
Technical Attendant-1 Grade-I
  • Class 10th and ITI pass from an Institute or Board recognized by the government in the designated ITI Trades and duration as indicated.
  • A Trade Certificate or National Trade Certificate (NTC) issued by SCVT/NCVT is required of candidates.

Age Limit

In addition to academic qualifications, specific age limits are set for each category of candidates, and every applicant must meet these age requirements. Therefore, it is highly advisable to carefully review the age eligibility criteria applicable to different categories of candidates before applying for any position.
