IBPS RRB Exam 2020:

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducts a Common Written Examination (CWE) for the selection of candidates who want to work in public sectors and Regional Banks spread across India.

This examination is conducted for the selection of posts for both Assistant and Officer Cadre. IBPS organizes IBPS RRB Exam every year.

IBPS CWE RRB Assistant Exam 2020:

IBPS RRB Assistant Exam is conducted every year for the post of Office Assistant in various branches of Regional Rural Banks across the country. This year a total of 3675 no. of vacancies are filled for this post. The competition for this exam is going to be tough as the vacancies have been reduced. IBPS CWE RRB Assistant Exam 2020 will be scheduled in August 2020.

This exam is conducted in two phases:

  • Preliminary Exam 
  • Mains Exam

IBPS CWE RRB Officer Grade Exam 2020:

IBPS CWE RRB Officer Grade Exam is conducted for the post of Scale I, II and III Officers in Regional Rural Banks across the country. This year a total of 3350 no. of vacancies are filled for this post.

The basic pay scale of these posts are:

  • Candidates are required to register online for the Common Recruitment Process (CRP) for Regional Rural Bank(RRB). 
  • The selection process of Officer Level Post is carried out through the three stages: Preliminary exam, Mains/single level exam and Interview.
  • The selection for Office Assistant (Multipurpose) posts is done on the basis of Preliminary and Mains exams.

IBPS RRB Exam 2020 Notification:

  • The official recruitment notification for the selection of candidates for the IBPS RRB Exam 2020 is expected to be released in the month of June 2020. Candidates can check the official notification of the examination by (clicking here).
  • After the official notification for the recruitment, IBPS will release the online registration link, Exam Pattern, Exam dates, Exam syllabus, and vacancies.
  • IBPS RRB PO (Probationary Officer) 2020 will be conducted in the first week of August 2020 (Preliminary Exam) and the Mains exam for it will be conducted on 13th September 2020.
  • IBPS CWE RRB 2020 Office Assistant Preliminary Exam will be conducted on the second and third week of August 2020 (8, 9 & 16 August 2020) and the mains examination will be conducted on 19 September 2020

IBPS RRB Exam 2020 Eligibility Criteria:

IBPS CWE RRB eligibility criteria are done on the set of guidelines in terms of age, educational qualification and nationality. Before filling up the application, candidates must ensure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria. According to IBPS CWE RRB eligibility criteria, 2020 candidates who have completed their graduation are eligible for this exam and can apply for it. Age Criteria

  • The age limit for the post of Office Assistant is between 18 to 28 years.
  • The age limit for the post of Officer Scale-II and III posts is 21 to 40 years.
  • The relaxation of age is given for the reserved category candidates.

Educational Qualification

  • The educational requirement is different for each post however the basic requirement is graduation.
  • All the educational qualifications should be recognized by the authorized university.
  • Candidates must possess proper documents issued by the recognized university mentioning the result has been declared by them. In case if the result is declared online, the certificate should be signed by the official authority which should be provided at the time of the interview.
  • Candidates should mention the final aggregate obtained in the graduation calculated to the nearest two decimals in the online registration form.

Local Language Proficiency

  • Candidates are required to have local language proficiency for the State or Union Territory that they are applying for.
  • If the candidate doesn’t meet the requirement in the local language at the time of selection will be given 6 months of time to acquire the proficiency.

Selection Process of IBPS CWE RRB Exam 2020:

In this section, we have mentioned the selection process of IBPS RRB recruitment.

Online Registration

The IBPS RRB Registration Form link will be made available between June and July. Candidates can fill up this application form only via online mode. The application fee of Rs 600 will be charged for General, Rs 100 for OBC and Rs 100 for SC/ST/PWD categories.

Release of Admit Card

After registering online the admit cards will be released for preliminary, mains and interview. The admit card is made available online on the official website. To download IBPS RRB Exam 2020 Admit Card, candidates are required to enter their registration number (registration number will be made available after the successful registration of online form) or roll number and DOB as their password.

Entrance Exam

The exam will be held online throughout the country for the preliminary, mains and single level exams. Candidates are required to reach the examination hall before the commencement of the exam with their admit card any photo identity proof.

Result Declaration

The result will be declared online on the official website of IBPS RRB. To check the result the candidates are required to login with Roll no. as their registration number and BOB as a password. The scoreboard and cut off is declared after a few days of result declaration.

Final Selection

The final selection of candidates for the Office Assistant post is done on the basis of the mains exam only. The selection of Officers Grade is done based on both the mains exam and interview. Provisional allotment for the post of Officer Grade II and III is done on the basis of candidates' performance in single-level and interview.
