The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducts a Common Written Examination (CWE) for the selection of candidates who want to work in public sectors and Regional Rural Banks spread across India.

IBPS Regional Rural Banks (RRB) Exam Notification 2024:

IBPS RRB Assistant Exam 2024:

IBPS RRB Assistant Exam is conducted every year for the post of Office Assistant in various branches of Regional Rural Banks across the country. This year a total of 8081 no. vacancies are filled for this post. The competition for this exam is going to be tough as the vacancies have been reduced. IBPS CWE RRB Assistant Exam 2024 will be scheduled for August 2024.

IBPS CWE RRB Officer Grade Exam 2024:

IBPS CWE RRB Officer Grade Exam is conducted for the post of Scale I, II, and III Officers in Regional Rural Banks across the country.

Candidates are required to register online for the Common Recruitment Process (CRP) for Regional Rural Bank(RRB). 

• The selection process for Officer Level Post is carried out through three stages: Preliminary exam, Mains/single level exam, and Interview.
• The selection for Office Assistant (Multipurpose) posts is done based on Preliminary and main exams.

IBPS RRB 2024 Registration Begins

Update: IBPS RRB Prelims exam for IBPS RRB Clerk and IBPS Clerk PO is scheduled to be held from 7th August 2024 to 21 August 2024 tentatively. The registrations for IBPS RRB Recruitment 2024 have already begun. 

The exams for IBPS Officer Scale-II and IBPS Officer Scale III will be going to held on 24 September 2024. The IBPS Officer Scale-II and Scale III exams are single staged exams, no mains exam will be conducted by IBPS for the recruitment process for IBPS Officer Scale-II & III.

• After the official notification for the recruitment, IBPS has released the online registration link, Exam Pattern, Exam dates, Exam syllabus, and vacancies.

• IBPS CWE RRB 2024 Office Assistant Preliminary Exam will be conducted on the 7th August 2024 to 21 August 2024 (tentatively) and the main examination will be conducted on 19 September 2024 (tentatively).

IBPS RRB Exam 2024 Eligibility Criteria

IBPS CWE RRB eligibility criteria are based on the set of guidelines in terms of age, educational qualification, and nationality. Before filling up the application, candidates must ensure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria. According to IBPS CWE RRB eligibility criteria, 2024 candidates who have completed their graduation are eligible for this exam and can apply for it. Eligibility Criteria for IBPS RRB Exam 2024

Age Criteria

• The age limit for the post of Office Assistant is between 18 to 28 years.
• The age limit for the post of Officer Scale-II and III posts is 21 to 40 years.
• The relaxation of age is given for the reserved category candidates.

Educational Qualification

• The educational requirement is different for each post however the basic requirement is graduation.
• All the educational qualifications should be recognized by the authorized university.
• Candidates must possess proper documents issued by the recognized university mentioning the result has been declared by them. In case if the result is declared online, the certificate should be signed by the official authority which should be provided at the time of the interview.
• Candidates should mention the final aggregate obtained in the graduation calculated to the nearest two decimals in the online registration form.

Local Language Proficiency

• Candidates are required to have local language proficiency for the State or Union Territory that they are applying for.
• If the candidate doesn’t meet the requirement in the local language at the time of selection will be given 6 months of time to acquire the proficiency.

Selection Process of IBPS RRB Exam 2024

Online Registration: IBPS RRB Exam 2024

The IBPS RRB Registration Form link will be made available between June and July. Candidates can fill up this application form only via online mode. The application fee of Rs 600 will be charged for General, Rs 100 for OBC, and Rs 100 for SC/ST/PWD categories.

Release of Admit Card: IBPS RRB Exam 2024

After registering online the admit cards will be released for preliminary, mains, and interview. The admit card is made available online on the official website. To download IBPS RRB Exam Admit Card 2024, candidates are required to enter their registration number (registration number will be made available after the successful registration of the online form) or roll number and DOB as their password.

Entrance Exam: IBPS RRB Exam 2024

The exam will be held online throughout the country for the preliminary, main, and single-level exams. Candidates are required to reach the examination hall before the commencement of the exam with their admit card or any photo identity proof.

Result Declaration: IBPS RRB Exam 2024

The result will be declared online on the official website of IBPS RRB Result. To check the result the candidates are required to log in with Roll no. as their registration number and BOB as a password. The scoreboard and cut-off are declared a few days after the result declaration.

Final Selection: IBPS RRB Exam 2024

The final selection of candidates for the Office Assistant post is done on the basis of the main exam only. The selection of an Officer's Grade is done based on both the main exam and the interview. Provisional allotment for the post of Officer Grade II and III is done on the basis of candidates' performance in single-level interviews.
