HPPSC Exam 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Before filling out the application it is important for the candidates to know about the eligibility criteria. If they didn’t pass the criteria there is no use in filling out the application.

HPPSC Age Limit 2026

For the recruitment positions of HPPSC 2026, it is important for the candidates to be 21 years old and the upper age limit should be 35 years. Also, there is some relaxation for some of the reserve students a list of them is mentioned below.

Education Qualifications of HPPSC Exam

Candidates applying for the HPPSC must have the qualification that is mentioned below. Otherwise they wil not be able to give the exams.

Veterinary Pharmacist	Candidates must be qualified for class 12th or its equivalent.
Laboratory Assistant (Physics & Ballistics)	Candidates must possess a second-class Bachelor's Degree in Forensic Science from any recognized University by the government.
Laboratory Assistant (Chemistry & Toxicology)	Candidates must possess B.Sc. (Medical) with Chemistry as one of the subject specializations from a recognized University.
Laboratory Assistant (Biology & Serology	Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in B.Sc. (Medical) with Molecular Biology/Biotechnology as a specialization from a recognized University.
Clerk	Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University. They should have a minimum typewriting speed of 30 words per minute in English Type-writing or 25 words per minute in Hindi Type-writing on Computer
Medical Laboratory Technician Grade 2	Candidates ought to pass class 12th in Science from a recognized Board of School Education and must have a B.Sc. Medical Laboratory Technology/B.Sc. Medical Technology (Laboratory)/B.Sc. Medical Laboratory Sciences/B.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology (Lateral) from a recognized University or an Institution with Government affiliation.
Law Office Grade 2	Candidates must possess a professional degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized University.
Dispenser	Candidates should be a Class 12 pass out with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Math as their subjects from a recognized Board of School Education.
Junior Office Assistant (IT)	Candidates should have passed the Class 12 Examination from a recognized Board of School Education/University.
Hostel Supdt. Cum PTI	Candidates should have Matric from a recognized University/Board or equivalent; Certificate/Diploma in Physical Education/Training with a minimum one-year duration from a recognized University/Board.
Inspector Legal Metrology	Candidates should hold a Bachelor's Degree from a recognized University in Science stream)/Technology/Engineering or hold a recognized Diploma in Engineering with minimum 03 years of professional experience.
Lineman	Candidates should have qualified Matric with ITI certification in Wireman/Electrician trade or Candidates should have passed Matric with 3 years Diploma in Electrical Engineering from the institutions recognized by the Govt. of HP.
