BHU PET 2019-20:

Banaras Hindu University Postgraduate Entrance Test 2019 (BHU PET 2019) is an admission entrance test which is administered by the Banaras Hindu University for the aspirants, who wish to pursue a postgraduate programme from the University. Applicants, who pass this entrance test, will be eligible to take admission in the BHU’s PG programmes.

It is University Level Post Graduation Entrance Exam conducted by Banaras Hindu University in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. The course is conducted under BHU PET are divided into categories such as ‘General’, ‘Professional’, ‘Special’ and ‘Vocational Courses. This year, BHU PET 2019 will be held from May 13 to 17, 2019 (tentatively) in offline mode.


Overview:
  • Aspirants seeking admission to various Post graduation courses must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in a particular subject. PG Entrance Test comprises of total 360 marks. There will be a total of 120 questions in the test. Multiple-choice questions based on the Graduate level of the concerned subject will be asked in the test. BHU PET Result will be declared after the successful completion of the exam on the official website. The result will be declared in different phases for different courses.

BHU PET 2019-20 Eligibility Criteria

The minimum eligibility requirement for BHU PET 2019 is a Bachelor’s Degree in concerned subject with at least 50% aggregate marks.

  • There is no age limit for the applicants to fill the application form.
  • Applicants filling the form must be the citizen of  Indian National.
  • Candidates seeking admission for M.A course in Language must have studied the Language at B.A. level and should provide it in the final mark sheet.
  • There are no minimum eligibility marks applicable for SC/ST candidates.
  • A minimum of 45% marks is required in the Degree examination, for OBC and Physically Challenged category
