AP NMMS Exam 2025 Application Form

Class 8 pupils in the State of Andhra Pradesh are encouraged to apply online for the National Means cum Merit Scholarship Examination (AP NMMS) through DGE AP.

Students who are studying Class 8 in Government, Zilla Parishad, Municipal, Aided, Mandala Parishad Primary Schools, and Andhra Pradesh Model Schools without accommodation are eligible to appear for the NMMS examination.

Through the Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh website, students can submit an online application (BSE AP). For students in the general category, the application cost is Rs. 100; for those in the SC/ST/PH categories, it is Rs. 50.

In India, one million students will be chosen annually. Of these, 4087 scholarships are being awarded to the districts of Residency Andhra Pradesh based on the number of children and students enrolled in the seventh and eighth grades for each academic year.

Beginning in August 2008, the NMMS examination is being administered by the Director of Government Examinations, Andhra Pradesh, Vijayawada.

Every year, in November, students enrolled in eighth grade at Government, Local Body, Municipal, Aided Schools, and Model Schools (without Residential Facilities) take the NMMS examination.

For general and OBC students, the AP NMMS application fee is Rs. 100; for SC, ST, and PH students, it is Rs. 50.

Amount of AP NMMS Scholarship

The National Means Cum Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMMSS) was quadrupled by the Central Government. The scholarship amount for NMMSS has increased from Rs. 6000 to Rs. 12,000 in the past.

As of right now, you will receive one installment from the government. Selected individuals from the ninth class to the intermediate level are given scholarships. Only students enrolled in junior colleges and government schools are eligible for scholarships.
