Admission Process of SR University, Telangana

SR Engineering College (SREC) was established in 2002 and is affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTUH). To get into the college, you need to follow the state government’s guidelines. The college later received the title of SR University in 2020.

To get into the university you need to follow the following procedure:

Admission Requirements

• For most of the programs offered, there are specific conditions you need to meet in order to be eligible for admission.
• Firstly, you should have successfully passed the 10+2 examination or its equivalent. This is the educational level after completing 12 years of schooling.
• Additionally, your aggregate (overall) marks from this examination should be at least 50%.
• Apart from your academic performance, you have the option to demonstrate your abilities through certain standardized tests. These tests include SRSAT (SR Scholastic Admission Test), JEE-Mains (a national-level engineering entrance exam), and State Level Engineering Entrance Exams from different states across India, including EAMCET. You can also showcase your achievements in sports or cultural activities.

Scholarships

• Scholarships are financial rewards provided to students who excel in their studies or show outstanding performance in specific exams. 
• To determine eligibility for scholarships, the selection is based on different criteria depending on the program.
• If you are applying for a scholarship, you performance in 10+2 or Intermediate CBSE exams, as well as your results in exams like JEE Mains and EAMCET (TS and AP), or equivalent exams, will be considered.

BBA/BBA-MBA Eligibility

• If your interest lies in the field of agriculture and wish to pursue a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) with Honors in Agriculture, there are certain criteria to meet.
• You should have passed the 10+2 examination or its equivalent with a minimum aggregate score of 50%.
• This program is open to students who have studied subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Biology (PCB) in their 10+2 education.
• If you have completed a two-year Diploma in Agriculture or Seed Technology after your 10th grade (secondary school), and you obtained a first-class distinction, you are also eligible to apply for this program.

Application Process

Online Application

1. Visit the official SR University Warangal website.
2. Look for the "Admissions" section on the homepage and click on it.
3. A new page will open. Fill in the required details accurately, matching your official documents.
4. Select the course you're interested in applying for.
5. Pay the application fee for SR University.
6. After paying, remember to download and save the completed form.

Offline Application

1. Go to the official SR University Warangal website.
2. Find the link that says "Application Form" on the main page and click on it.
3. Download the form provided.
4. Complete all the sections of the form with the necessary information.
5. Attach a recent photograph of yourself on the form.
6. Gather all the required documents and attach them to the filled-out form.
7. Send the completed form along with the documents to the admission office at SR University Warangal.
