RIT Kottayam Admission Procedure 2024-24:

To apply for undergraduate and postgraduate courses at Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology students have to fill the application form of RIT. the application form will be available on the official website of the RIT Kottayam. Admission of the students is done on the basis of entrance exam marks. Students should check the eligibility and selection criteria of the institute so they don’t miss out on any important information related to the admission procedure. We have mentioned each course's eligibility and selection criteria below:

For B.Tech 

• The basic eligibility criteria for Bachelor of Technology, students have to pass their class 12th in the science stream (physics, chemistry, and mathematics as main subjects) from a recognized education board. 
• With a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in class 12th. 
• Students have to qualify for the KEAM entrance examination. 
• The selection of the students will be done through KEAM counseling. 

For B.Arch 

• Students must have done 10+2 in the science stream (chemistry, physics, and mathematics) from a recognized board of education.
• Also, Students have to score at least 50% of marks in 10+2.
• Students have to appear in the NATA entrance examination and have to score valid marks. 
• The students will be selected on the basis of the marks scored in the NATA entrance examination.

For MCA 

• Students must have done a bachelor’s degree in BCA from a recognized university. 
• With that, students have scored a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in their graduation degree. 
• Students must have studied mathematics/statistics in their academic year. 

For M.Tech 

• The basic eligibility criteria for a Master of Technology is students must have done graduation degree (B.Tech) in a relevant stream from any recognized university. 
• Students have to appear and qualify for the GATE entrance examination with a valid score. 
• The selection of the students is based on their performance in the GATE entrance examination by the students. 

Application Procedure of RIT Kottayam:

Students who are seeking to get admission to RIT Kottayam have to visit the examination website to fill the application form. Follow these steps to fill the application form for RIT Kottayam:

• Firstly, students have to visit the official website.
• Now click on the registration option and enter these details students name, Date of birth, Email ID, and mobile number, and then Create Password. 
• After that re-login in the portal with your id and password 
• Now fill in the required details like personal details, academic details, and contact details in the application form. 
• Upload your scanned signature and photographs on the website. 
• After that, students have to make a payment of INR 700 for the application form. SC category students have to pay only INR 300 for the application form.
