Mangalam College of Engineering was established in the year of 2002 and it is a private college located in Ettumanoor Kerala. All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) approved the Mangalam College of Engineering, Ettumanoor, Kerala. The college is affiliated with Mahatma Gandhi University in Kerala and the Mangalam College of Engineering, Kerala is promoted by the Mangalam Education Society. The college is also accredited by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).

The college offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses across various streams to the students. Undergraduate courses include Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical And Electronics Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication Engineering. Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA).
