Indian Institute of Technology (IIT)

IIT Indore is one of the top 10 Engineering colleges in India. Located in the Indore city of Madhya Pradesh, the Indian Institute of Technology was established in 2009 by the Government of India, also it is one of the eight new IIT colleges established by the Government. As per orders of the Ministry of Human Resource Development, the institution started functioning in 2009 on a temporary college campus at the Institute of Engineering and Technology of Devi Ahilyabai University. The Permanent foundation of the IIT was laid afterward and now the campus is spread over a land of 501 acres area. IIT Indore offers Technology and Science related courses in various streams. IIT, Indore is one of the most prestigious and renowned colleges of Engineering in India. The admissions are offered on the basis of entrance examinations only( JEE Mains. and JEE Advance).

 There are only 320 seats available in IIT Indore, in which 120 seats are offered in post-graduate programs and 260 seats are offered to B.Tech Applicants. IIT, Indore is no ordinary engineering college, with a limited no. of seats and such strict eligibility criteria, it is a huge deal to get admission to IIT Indore. Every year millions of students appear in entrance examinations in the hope to get admission to IIT Indore. 

The college has its own library, and all the schools ( School of Basic Science, School of Engineering, the school of Engineering) are located on the college's campus.
