For Master of Technology:

• To get admission to Master of Technology students have to complete their graduation in B.E/B.Tech from a recognized university. 
• A minimum of 60% marks has to be secured by the students or equivalent CGPA in their graduate degree. 55% of marks in the case of SC/ST category students.
• Also, students have to appear in the GATE entrance exam and have to score valid marks.
• Student’s selection is based on the marks secured in the GATE entrance exam. 

For Doctorate of Philosophy:

• Students must have completed graduation in any relevant stream (M.E/M.Tech) for getting admission to the Ph.D. 
• Graduation must be done from any recognized university with the minimum marks of 60% or equivalent CGPA and 5% of relaxation is given to the SC/ST category students.

To fill the application form for a graduation degree or postgraduate degree first students have to fill the form of entrance exam which is necessary for the students to appear in the entrance exam. • Attach your scanned images and signature with the application form
• You have to make a payment of INR 1000 for the application form through online mode only.

• Click on the option of admission and then select GATE. After that, you will find the link to the website of the GATE
• After that do registration on the official website of GATE and log in to the BIT with the help of your login credentials
• Then fill the application form with required information like personal details, contact details, and academic details
• Attach all scanned documents with the application form of BIT
• Now make a payment for the application form of BIT INR 1500 and INR 750 is reserved category and women. Make a payment through online mode for your application form.
• You should take a printout of the BIT application form for future reference
