Kargil Defence Academy is a registered institute of education under the Registrar Sansthan Jaipur. The main aim of the academy is to prepare and inspire young people to enlist as officers in the armed forces.
This academy is making all its effort to help the Armed Forces make up for the shortage of nearly 13,000 officers by offering selfless service. It is open to all without any discrimination of race, creed or color and takes part voluntarily in the non-political education movement.

2. CDS

3. AFCAT

4. Coast Guard (CG)
The Ministry of Defence oversees the Indian Coast Guard, an autonomous military force tasked with defending the country’s marine interests. 5. ACC
Regular army troops can become officers in the Indian Army by passing an examination administered by ACC- Army Cadet College. Written qualified candidates who meet the requirements can schedule SSB interviews.

6. T.A.
As an officer, one can enlist in the Territorial Army. The TA Directorate releases the advertisement once a year, usually in June. The sole place for candidates to apply is online at www.joinindianarmy.nic.in, the official website. Applications may be submitted in this mode only.

7. SSB

8. IMA
It stands for Indian Military Academy, where admission is taken through a common entrance exam for male and female graduate candidates. The Indian Military Academy (IMA) is located in Uttarakhand’s Dehradun and is an academy for train officers. Candidates need to work hard to prepare for CDSE to join IMA (DE). This exam is conducted twice a year.

9. MNS
MNS stands for Military Nursing Service. Only female candidates are invited to the 4-year B Sc (Nursing) program. Upon completion of nursing training, the candidate is shortlisted permanently or shortly for service commission in the Military Nursing Service.

10. CAPF
