(IES) also known as Indian Engineering Services Exam and Engineering Services Examination (ESE) which is organized by the Union Public Services Commission UPSC, every year.

This exam is conducted in three stages:

• IES Preliminary
• IES Main
• Personality Test

Its civil servants are recruited by the Government of India through the Engineering Services Examination (ESE). India Engineering Services is one of the civil services meeting the technical requirements of the Government of India.
