List of Fake Universities in India by UGC

Everybody wants to get the best education from one of the reputed educational institutions. But it's not possible due to some fake universities. Yes, there are 24+ fake universities and 279 such technical institutes in our country which are not approved by AICTE. After the verification process, the University Grant Commission (UGC) has released the list of fake universities on Sep 2024. As per the law of the University Grants Commission [UGC] Act, 1956, only a University established by a Central, State/ Provincial Act or a college is deemed to be university under section 3 or a college is specially empowered by an Act of Parliament to confer UGC specified degrees under section 22(3) of the Act.

When students go for higher studies in any universities they should verify or cross-check the universities details. One wrong decision may ruin your whole life. They should check that college is approved by the Government or UGC. Fake colleges provide UG and PG course as a UGC approved institutions but their degree and certificate are valid. These type of degree are not accepted anywhere because these are not approved by UGC or Government. A large number of Innocent young candidates or students get cajole by the Fake Universities and Institutions’ scam. So here we have introduced you to all such type of fake universities.  Our aim is to be aware and careful all aspirants from all these types of institutions.

Section 23 of the UGC Act prohibits the use of the word “University” by any institutions other than a university established as mentioned
