CLAT

Common-Law Eligibility Test is a national level Law Entrance Exams conducted on rotation by 18 National Law Universities to provide admission in various undergraduate, postgraduate and integrated degree programmes. CLAT is a computer-based exam (pen and paper-based). The registration process for the exam will commence from January 2025 through online mode.

AILET

All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) is a National Level Exam to offer admission into various Undergraduate and Postgraduate law courses that are offered by the national law university and its affiliate institutions. Candidates can fill out the application form from January 2025. AILET 2025 shall be conducted in offline mode where the paper will have 150 questions of objective (Multiple-Choice Questions) nature.

AIBE Exam

All India Bar Examination is a National Level examination conducted by the Bar Council of India. The exam is conducted to award candidates with the Certificate of Practice.

The application form has been rendered online mode from 26th September 2025. Candidates seeking admission can avail themselves through online mode.

SAAT Exam

Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan University Admission Test (SAAT) is a national level Entrance Exam which is conducted by Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan University (SOA). University Level Law Entrance Exams 2025:

Delhi University Admission

The University of Delhi organizes its own Law Entrance Exam for admission in law programmes that are known as DU LLB/LLM Entrance Test. Candidates can avail of the application form in June 2025. The language of the entrance test is kept English. The entrance test for both LLB & LLM is conducted on separate dates in July 2025.

IPU CET

Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test (IPU CET) is a university-level entrance exam conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University which offers admission to UG & PG courses in engineering, medical, dental, law, and management. IPU CET 2025 for all programmes is scheduled between April - May 2025.

AMU

Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) is a central university level entrance that conducts entrance exams for admission in law programmes i.e BA LLB Admission Test & LLM Admission Test. AMU provides admission in various courses like B.Tech, B.Com (Hons.), B.Sc, MBA, B.Arch, B.Ed, BA. LLB, etc. Willing Candidates can fill out the application form from February 2025.

Allahabad University 

Allahabad University is a recognized university of Uttar Pradesh that provides UG, PG, diploma, and research courses in the field of arts, commerce, law, and sciences. The university coordinates  (3 years) Law Admission Test 2025 (LAT 2025), BA LLB (Hons), LLM 2025 & Five Year Integrated Course Admission Test (LFAT 2025) for law courses. Exams for UG, PG, law & other courses are organized separately for candidates by University.

CUSAT

Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) is the most famous university in India. CUSAT 2025 is organized by the authority of Cochin University of Science & Technology. The university offers admission into various courses in the field of engineering, management, law, etc. The courses which the university offers in the area of law are LLB, B.Com LLB, BBA LLB, & LLM. Online registration for the entrance exam will begin in February 2025.

SET

Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) is a university-level entrance exam for UG courses offered by SIU affiliated institutes. The SET exam is accomplished by Symbiosis International University. The university constituent institutes i.e. Symbiosis Law School, Noida, Hyderabad, & Pune, offers BA LLB & BBA LLB. Candidates seeking admission can get the application form from January 2025 onwards. The SET Exam will be held in an offline mode that is through Pen & Paper mode. After January 2025 onwards, the Symbiosis SET Law Test will be known as Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT).

BVP CET

Bharati Vidyapeeth University Common Entrance Test (BVP CET) is a university-level entrance exam. It is a group of leading educational institutions that offer programmes in various disciplines of engineering, law, management, etc. The university administrates BVP CET LLB, BVP CET BBA LLB, BVP CET BA LLB, & BVP CET LLM 2025 entrance exam. It is one of the university level entrance exams which are organized once every year. Candidates who have cleared their class 10th and 12th examination can apply at the official website by paying INR 1700 as the fee. Successfully registered candidates can download the admit card just after the payment of the fee.

LPU NEST

Lovely Professional University(LPU) organizes university entrance exams for various courses in the area of Law, Engineering, etc. The university conducts the LPU NEST exam which is compulsory for all candidates who seek admission in LLB, BA LLB (Hons.), B.Com LLB (Hons.) & BBA LLB (Hons.). The entrance test will be organized in an online mode that is a computer-based exam. LPU NEST test is not only the admission test for the university but also the scholarship test. Based on the performance of the test students can also get scholarships up to Rs 7.5 lakhs. LPU NEST is conducted twice a year.

DU LLB Entrance Exam 

To avail admission into the 3-year law programme the Faculty of Law, Delhi University organizes the DU LLB Entrance Exam. It is a university level examination that is organized in June 2025.

The University of Delhi conducts the law entrance examination to offer admissions into the three-year law programme which will be conducted in online mode. The applicants seeking forward for the exam will get access to the DU LLB 2025 application form tentatively on May 18 in online mode.

BHU Admission

Banaras Hindu University (BHU) is an autonomous body that every year conducts both UG and PG programmes. It university level entrance test. Candidates, looking for admissions in the three-year LLB programme have to appear for this exam. The exam will be conducted in May 2025.

Banaras Hindu University (BHU) was founded by the Bharat Ratna Mahamana Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya in 1916. BHU is considered one of the most reputed central universities in India. The university conducts separate BHU Entrance Exam 2025 for both UG & PG programmes, i.e. UET (Undergraduate Entrance Test) & PET (Postgraduate Entrance Test).

State Level Law Entrance Exams 2025:

AP LANCET 

Andhra Pradesh Law Common Entrance Test (AP LAWCET) is a state-level entrance exam that is conducted once a year. The exam is conducted to offer admission in 3 years and 5 years of Law courses like - LLB, LLB (Hons.), BBA LLB/BA LLB/B.Com LLB/ BA LLB (Hons.). Online registration will be started from March 2025. AP LAWCET is organized by the Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Anantapur on the behalf of APSCHE, Hyderabad. Candidates can now avail admission in the state law universities of AP all the colleges affiliated with them.

TS LANCET

Telangana State Law Common Entrance Test (TS LAWCET) is a state-level entrance exam which is conducted by the Kakatiya University, Warangal. The exam is managed on behalf of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education to provide admission in 3 years and 5 years LLB/BL courses. Interested candidates can now avail of admission in various government and private universities and their associated colleges of law in the state of Telangana. The question paper was set in both English & Telugu languages.

MH CET Law

Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MH CET) for Law is a state level examination organized by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Government of Maharashtra.  The exam is directed every year by the Government of Maharashtra, State Common Entrance Test Cell. It is a state-level entrance exam to get admission in Engineering & Technology, Pharmacy, and Pharm. D courses. It is also referred to as MHT CET. the exam offers admission in various government and private institutions of Maharashtra state.
