  • For PG- A candidate may submit applications for a minimum of three courses, and further most add more courses by paying a minimal fee. However, the candidate must verify the particulars specified by different universities prior to applying.

  • For PhD- Applicants can apply for the particular paper they desire. Additionally, they can add more subjects for a nominal cost. However, the candidate must verify the particulars specified by different universities prior to applying.

3. Subject Eligibility -

The subject specification and prerequisites for admission to a specific course vary from university to university. So, a candidate must check in with the university's official website and thoroughly go through with the University brochure to review the subject requirements for their successful candidature. 

4. Marks Obtained - 

  • For UG- 50% (unreserved)  marks in their 10+2. 

  • For PG- 50% (unreserved)  marks in their graduation.

5. Educational Qualification - 

  • For UG- 10+2 or its equivalent from an accredited board or school.Or must be appearing for the examination.

Syllabus for CUET- 

The CUET examination pattern mainly comprises of three primary domains. That is Language, General Test and Subject Specific Questions.  

  • Language: Topics like vocabulary, literary analysis, comprehension, and other related subjects are covered in this section. 

  • General Test: Topics like arithmetic, logic, current events, and general knowledge are covered in this section.

Points to remember :

  1. It is a Computer Based Test and Multichoice in nature.

  2. CUET UG- Each correct response is worth five marks while each incorrect answer results in the deduction of one mark.

  3. CUET PG- Each correct response is worth four marks, while each incorrect answer results in the deduction of one mark. 

  4. CUET PhD- Each correct response is worth four marks, while each incorrect answer results in the deduction of one mark.
