1. Age Limit -

2. Subject Selection -
For UG- A candidate is allowed to apply for up to ten courses, with a minimum of three courses. However, the candidate must verify the particulars specified by different universities prior to applying.
For PG- A candidate may submit applications for a minimum of three courses, and further most add more courses by paying a minimal fee. However, the candidate must verify the particulars specified by different universities prior to applying.
For PhD- Applicants can apply for the particular paper they desire. Additionally, they can add more subjects for a nominal cost. However, the candidate must verify the particulars specified by different universities prior to applying.
3. Subject Eligibility -
The subject specification and prerequisites for admission to a specific course vary from university to university. So, a candidate must check in with the university's official website and thoroughly go through with the University brochure to review the subject requirements for their successful candidature.
4. Marks Obtained -
For UG- 50% (unreserved) marks in their 10+2.
For PG- 50% (unreserved) marks in their graduation.
For PhD- 50% (unreserved) marks in their post graduation.
5. Educational Qualification -
For UG- 10+2 or its equivalent from an accredited board or school.Or must be appearing for the examination.
For PG- Graduation from a college or university that is acknowledged. Or must be appearing for their final year examination.

The CUET examination pattern mainly comprises of three primary domains. That is Language, General Test and Subject Specific Questions.
Language: Topics like vocabulary, literary analysis, comprehension, and other related subjects are covered in this section.
General Test: Topics like arithmetic, logic, current events, and general knowledge are covered in this section.
Domain Subject: This section basically deals with the question from the opted subject or course. Dealing with various concepts, theories, history etc.

It is a Computer Based Test and Multichoice in nature.
CUET UG- Each correct response is worth five marks while each incorrect answer results in the deduction of one mark.
