About Provisional Certificate:

Provisional certificate is a certificate saying that you have completed your graduation. And it is produced by colleges and universities. Also, it is a temporary certificate until the original certificate came. You are free to do a job or searching for a job by using this provisional certificate. 

Provisional certificate is valid only for 6 months. The temporary certificate is issued by the university and permanent degree will be issued only in the next convocation. Apply for Provisional Certificate from CSJMU:

Online submission through E - Challan/Internet banking/ Debit or the Credit card of Axis Bank for issuing provisional certificate:

Step 1. Visit the official website www.kanpuruniversity.org  of the CSJMU. 

Step 2. Click on the link ‘ Online Submission Through E- Challan/Internet banking/ Debit or Credit card of Axis Bank’ on the homepage of the Online Submission of Provisional Certificate.

Step 3. Then click on the I Agree’ option. While candidates agree with all the instructions given on the same page. 

Step 4. Students now have to enter the 1st, 2nd and 3rd-year roll numbers, pass out year and class or course name.

Step 5. Click on the “Final Submission” option. 

Step 6. After you submit it, a new page will appear on your screen. There will be 2 options registration number and generate it.

Step 7. Click on the ‘Generate E- Challan/Internet banking/ Debit or Credit card’ option and take print out of E- Challan. 

Step 8. Candidates signature is a must on the page. Then on the nearest branch of axis bank, candidates should pay the fee before the last date comes.

Step 9. A transaction Id will be provided to candidates and again visit on the homepage of the official website then click on the “Generate Provisional Certificate”. 

Step 10. Enter your Registration number and Transaction Id, now you will obtain Provisional Certification on the next screen. And take a final print out of Provisional Certificate.

How to Generate and Verify Provisional Certificate:

Students who want to do a job or are searching for a job can apply for a provisional certificate. After completing the course students then only generate the provisional certificate. To generate this certificate students have to follow the following steps which are given below: 

  1. Visit the website of the university www.kanpuruniversity.org.
  2. Then click on the link given on the homepage of the website i.e.,  “Online Application for Provisional Certificate”.
  3. Enter your registration number/ challan number and transaction number for print. 
  4. Then click on the ‘Generate provisional certificate’.
  5. Then a Serial number will be generated.  
  6. To Verify for provisional certificate,  enter that serial number in the given box which is generated.

7. Then again click on the ‘Generate Report’.

 Candidates have to select course/ class for provisional certificate which is given below:

  • First select the mode of payment either it is through internet banking or E-challan or through debit/ credit card.
  • Then select the course/ class type i.e., semester/ regular or private / annual courses.
  • Now select the course/ class name of the candidate.
  • Then click on the ‘submit’ option.

Students apply for the Provisional certificate when they searching for a job. This certificate is issued to a student who has passed the university exam. The permanent degree will obtain after the convocation. Provisional certificate is given by the universities or institutions. And it is valid up to 6 months only.
