IIT-Bombay Placement: Rs 33.4 lakh Top Package for MBA Graduates

The highest package that was secured by the MBA graduates last year was Rs 22.4 lakh. This year the management students from IIT Bombay have received a package of 32.4 lakh. However this year, an increase in the average CTC offered to MBA graduates has been seen. The previous year, the candidates were seen earning an average CTC of 19.06 lakh per annum but this year the average annual package offered has exceeded the limit of Rs 20 Lakh. This statement was recently issued by IIT Bombay.

Job opportunities for MBA graduates

All the MBA graduate students belonging to the 2019 batch got placed during the last placement drive that lasted for 3 days in December. Around 38 organizations gave more than 112 job opportunities. In the past year, 112 offers were made to a batch that had 107 students.

Other than the legacy recruiters, the management institute also witnessed recruiters like Tata Global Beverages, HSBC, and OYO.

These students can perform multiple job roles and functions and will also strengthen long-term relations with legacy recruiters. Legacy recruiters together with a large number of new recruiters have offered excellent packages to the MBA graduates.

The SJMSOM institute has made rapid progress which is reflected in the increasing number of average packages every year. This is the result of strong schedules being followed by the SJMSOM. In the previous year, 20% of the students received offers equivalent to Rs. 25.24 lakh but if you consider the top 50 percent of graduates, then they got an offer worth Rupees 22.59 lakh.
