Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission, commonly known as UPPSC, is Uttar Pradesh's state agency for appointment of all the entry-level appointments to the various Group A and Group B Civil Services of Uttar Pradesh

UPPSC has released the notification and opened the application form window for the RO/ARO post. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online via the official website https://uppsc.up.nic.in/ between 9 October 2025 to 24 November 2025.

RO/ARO Application fees 

Candidates have to pay a particular application fee to finish the RO/ARO Exam 2025 online application process. The category-wise application fee is listed below in the table :

RO/ARO Eligibility Criteria

Before applying for the RO/ARO Exam 2025, candidates must check out the eligibility criteria to verify whether they are eligible or not. If candidates do not meet the eligibility criteria as mentioned in the notification pdf, then their application will not be considered. The eligibility criteria in the form of educational qualification and age limit are as follows : 

RO/ARO Age limit

The UPPSC RO/ARO states that candidates must be between the ages of 21 and 40 in order to apply for the 2025 recruitment exam. However, candidates who fall within the SC, ST, or OBC categories are put to some relaxation.

RO/ARO Educational Qualification

Candidate must hold a bachelor's degree,i.e., he/she should be a graduate from a recognized university in order to be eligible for the RP/ARO exam 2025.

RO/ARO Application Form

Eligible aspirants who are applying can apply online for RO/ARO Exam 2025 via the official website of UPPSC by keeping in mind the following steps. Candidates must visit the official website to fill in their Application Form. Candidates should read the official notification once before filling out the form. 

  • Check out the official website of the UPPSC - https://uppsc.up.nic.in/
  • Complete the registration process by entering the required details, such as your Name, Date of Birth (DOB), Email, and Password.
  • After completing the registration, you will get your User ID and Password.
  • Log in to your account using the given login information.
  • Start completing the application form by providing all the necessary information, including personal details.

Make sure you have the required scanned documents ready in the suggested format for uploading. Pay the online application fee according to your category, and make sure to take out a printout of the filled-out form for future reference.

Points to keep in mind

  • Paper 1 will be of 2 hrs (120 minutes)
  • Paper 2 will be of one hour (60 minutes)
  • Candidates will be given 1 mark for each correct answer
  • 0.33 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer

RO/ARO Admit Card

According to the official notification, the RO/ARO Admit Card 2025 will be available for download via its official website. Candidates who will complete their RO/ARO Online Application Process can download the admit card once announced on the website.

In other words, your admit card will be visible on the website only if you have successfully and correctly filled out and submitted the online application form. The RO/ARO admit card will be released by the exam conducting authority.

Carrying a valid RO/ARO admit card is important for all the applying candidates to appear in the exam. An admit card is required for every candidate to take the exam. The exam conducting authority will release the Admit card before the date of the examination.

Steps to Download the Admit Card

  • Visit the official website of the exam conducting authority ie. https://uppsc.up.nic.in/ 
  • Next, explore the website's homepage. There, you will see a menu with the most recent notifications displayed.
  • Find the notification that is displaying "Download RO/ARO Admit Card 2025"
  • They will then ask you to log in using the submitted credentials. After completing the required fields, click the submit button.
  • Now, your RO/ARO Admit card will appear on the screen, you have to download the admit card.
  • After downloading your admit card, don't forget to take one or two printouts of the admit card.

DHC Answer Key

Any state or national examination answer key is made available after the test. The answer key is made available to candidates after the exam in order to give them an idea of what to expect from their marks. The answer key for each subject will be released separately.

The answer key will be released on the official website i.e., https://uppsc.up.nic.in/ after the examination. The candidates will be able to examine their marks and determine the correct response with the aid of this. The candidates are given a chance to raise objections if they find any query.

  • Click on the ‘Answer Key’ notification
  • Login through your submitted details
  • Your paper's answer key will show up on the screen.
