The Uttar Pradesh Joint Entrance Exam Council has notified about JEECUP 2025, and interested candidates should apply online. It is a state-level examination conducted for candidates who wish to study in private and government polytechnic colleges in Uttar Pradesh. The students should find the detailed brochures on the website. They can apply for any of the four groups: Group A, Group B, Group EL, Group EL2, Group L, to Group K.

Nationality
The candidate should be an Indian citizen.
Domicile
The candidate should be a resident of Uttar Pradesh and have completed 10th and 12th grade in the schools or institutions of Uttar Pradesh.
Qualifications for UPJEE 2025
The candidate should have passed 12th grade from a recognised university or appeared for any equivalent examination. Students who are appearing for the final-year examination this year can also apply. The candidate should score a minimum of 35% on any recognised board.
Age criteria
The minimum age of the candidate should be 14 years old as of July 2025. No upper age limit is specified for the candidates.
Group-wise eligibility criteria
Candidates who are applying for Group A (Diploma in Engineering and Technology), Group B (Agriculture Engineering), and Group C (Fashion Design, Home Science, and Textile Design) should have a 10th pass. Candidates seeking admission to Agricultural Engineering should have scored a minimum of 35% marks in the agricultural subject.
Students applying for Group D (Modern Office Management and Secretarial Practice, Library and Information Science), Groups E1 and E2 (Diploma in Pharmacy), Group F (Post Graduate Diploma in Biotechnology (Tissue Culture), Group G (Post Graduate Diploma Course), Diploma in Hotel Management and Catering Technology, Group I (Aircraft Maintenance), and K1 to K8 (Lateral Entry) should be 10 + 2.
The application fee for OBC and general category candidates is Rs. 300, and students belonging to the reserved category should pay Rs. 200.
The candidates should visit the official site at jeecup.admissions.nic.in.
Then they can find an option on the homepage under the “JEECUP 2025” link, and it is activated.
Then, to register their name, they should enter credentials. They should provide details such as contact information, name, and e-mail address.
Then the students should login, entering the ID generated by the system and password.
Then fill out the application form at JEE Polytechnic.
Then upload the essential documents, such as photographs, necessary documents, and signatures. The documents required are marksheets for grades 10 and 12, a caste certificate, a PWD certificate if applicable, and a scanned image of a coloured photograph with the name and date of the photograph.
After uploading the documents, proceed with payment. The fees should be paid online through a credit card, debit card, or net banking. Verify the information before submitting the form. Then press ‘Submit’ to submit the form.
An acknowledgment page is generated. Take a printout of the copy and save it for future reference.
The candidates can pay offline by downloading the e-challan and filling out the details. The e-challan should be paid to the nearest State Bank of India, or ICICI.
The paper comprises 100 objective-type questions, and the students are awarded 4 marks for every correct answer. For every wrong answer, one mark is deducted. The questions are based on the syllabus for Grades 10th, 11th, and 12th.
Checking the details of the JEECUP application form 2025
The candidates can check the status of their applications online on the official website. The exam authorities should send emails and messages to the candidates notifying them of the status.
Editing the application form for JEECUP 2025
The candidates can edit the application form for 2025 on the official site of jeecup.nic.in. They can modify only some sections of the form. To edit the form, they should go to the official site and click on the application link. They should log in using the application form and password. After logging in successfully, the candidates can edit the incorrect details.
Downloading an Admit Card
The candidates can download their admit cards on March 10, 2025. To download the admit card, the candidates should download the admit card for JEECUP 2025.
