UP Police Computer Operator Selection Process 2025

The selection process for the post of CO (Garde A) within the UP Police Department, according to the notification officially released by the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board, comprises numerous stages, including a Computer Test, Document Verification, and Medical Examination.

Candidates who apply will be called for CBT, and those who pass this test will be called for the second and third stages of the selection process, with the final selection list being generated based on performance in the first stage, i.e. the Computer Based Test.

UP Police Computer Operator Exam Pattern 2025

The UPPRPB will hold a written exam for the post of Computer Operator in CBT mode, with a total of 160 multiple-choice questions from General Knowledge, Mental Aptitude, Reasoning Power, and Computer Science. Each question will be worth 1.5 marks, and each individual will have 2 hours to complete all MCQs.

There will be a computer-based test with a total score of 200. Each question is worth 1.25 points. The exam lasts two hours, and students must achieve at least 40% of the total marks to pass.

Salary of a UP Police Computer Operator 2025
