UGC NET 2024: The National Test Agency, NTA has been released an important notification for UGC NET 2024 examination. NTA will conduct the next UGC-NET in June 2024. The National Eligibility Test (NET) will be conducted by NTA for the second time on behalf of the University Grants Commission (UGC). the exam is held in 91 selected cities. The registration process will commence from March 1 and will end on March 30 at the official website ntanet.nic.in.The willing candidates can start filling the application form before the last date.  

As per the reports, the admit card for UGC NET 2024 exam will be available from May 15. The exam will be held on June 20, 21, 24, 25, 26, 27, and 28 in multiple sessions. Candidates must note as per the official notification NET exam will be conducted as per the new syllabus that is available on the UGC NET site ugcnetonline.in. the exam is conducted to determine a candidate's eligibility for Assistant Professor and/or Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) was handed over to NTA by CBSE.

Like every year UGC NET 2024 will be a fully computer-based Test. The examination would be conducted in various shifts and candidates can select which day they wish to appear for the examination.

The examination will be organized into two papers. Both the papers will be conducted in a single 3 hours duration. The applicants who qualify for JRF will be eligible to earn a fellowship of UGC under various schemes. The validity of the offer will be three years.

Candidates can appear in the subject of their post-graduation only and should have a minimum of 55 percent marks in the exam from colleges or universities recognized under UGC, while the SC, St, and OBC candidates should have a minimum of 50 percent marks in their masters to seat for the exam.
