Qualifications in Education

To apply for RRC WCR Recruitment 2025, the applicant must have passed the 10th examination or its equivalent (under the 10+2 examination system) with at least 50% aggregate marks from a recognized Board. They must also have a National Trade Certificate in the selected trade issued by NCVT/SCVT.

Candidates for Railway WCR Apprentice Recruitment 2025 will be chosen based on their performance in the following stages:

The following stages are included in the selection process:

  • The selection is based on a merit list that is generated for all qualified individuals who apply.
  • The average grades from the 10th class exam or its equivalent (under the 10+2 system) and ITI/Trade marks are considered in the merit list.

Trade/Division/Unit-wise Merit List:  Merit lists are created based on the candidate's selected trade, division, and unit.

  • It is classified according to trade, division, unit, and community.

Document Verification: The division/unit selects candidates for document verification based on the merit list.

  • When an applicant is judged to be suitable in all aspects, the division/unit hires them.
  • Presence based on Age: The older candidate is given precedence if two candidates have the same grade point average.
  • If the birthdates are identical, the person who passed the matriculation exam first is given preference.
  • Final Merit List: A final merit list is generated for each trade, division/unit, and community. The list is ordered in descending order of each candidate's percentage of marks.
  • Allocation of Waiting List Candidates: If a certain trade is understaffed in any division/unit, the RRC has the authority to place waiting list candidates from that trade in other divisions/units based on merit.

Documents necessary for Online Application: Candidates must have scanned copies of the following documents before applying online:

  • Signature and photograph (JPG format, 50kb-200kb)
  • A recent passport photo (100 x 120 pixels).
  • Signature of the specimen (160 x 70 pixels).
  • Certificates (50 kb-200 kb in JPG format):
  • Mark sheet for 10th grade.
  • Certificate of Completion for Std 10th.
  • If applicable, a community certificate for SC/ST/OBC/EWS.
  • if applicable, a PwBD certificate.
  • NCVT/SCVT issues ITI certificates and mark sheets.

Payment Procedures for Application and Processing Fees:

  • Click on "Click Here to Pay" for Application and Processing Fee payment.
  • Find and pick "RAILWAY RECRUITMENT CELL WEST CENTRAL RAILWAY JBP".
  • Select "Application/Processing Fee for Apprenticeship" as the Payment Category and enter the needed information. Next, press the "Next" button.
  • Check the payment information and then press the "Next" button.
  • Select a payment method and finish the transaction.
  • After completion, save/print the e-receipt with the candidate's date.
  • If the online transaction fails, re-enter the payment information.
  • Failure to pay the fee will result in the application being rejected.
