Eligibility Criteria For RBI Grade B Exam 2025

In order to appear for the RBI Grade B exam RBI has set up Eligibility Criteria on which candidates had to meet the following expectations:

• The candidate has to be a citizen of India.
• If not then he must be either a subject of Nepal and Bhutan
• He must be a Tibetan refugee that been permanently settled in India prior to January 1, 1962.
• To qualify RBI Exam an aspirant's age must be between 21-30 years as of September 1, 2025.
• The age limit for candidates with M.Phil. and Ph.D. qualifications are 32 and 34 years respectively.

Educational Qualifications Required for RBI Grade B

An Educational Qualifications required to appear as candidates for RBI Grade B are as follows:

Officers In Grade ‘B’ (DR)-DSIM	Should hold a  Master’s Degree in Statistics/Mathematical Economics/ Mathematics/Mathematical Statistics/Statistics & Informatics/Econometrics from IIT-Kharagpur or Applied Statistics & Informatics from IIT-Bombay with a minimum of 55% marks. OR Post Graduate Diploma in Business Analytics (PGDBA) with a minimum of 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PWD)
