2024 Military Nursing Service Exam Openings:
Employability
- Those who are chosen for the SSC in the MNS will be eligible to serve anywhere in India for five years, with the possibility of extension for a total of fourteen (5+5+4) years, in the same manner as Regular Officers of the Armed Forces (Army, Navy, and Air Force) who are in the Military Nursing Service.
- During the first five years of operation, requests for choice of publishing by any method will not be granted.
Rewards
- Following the completion of the pre-commissioning procedures, the candidates will be awarded the rank of Lieutenant and be eligible for full pay and allowances as specified in the MNS pay matrix.
- In addition, they will receive supplementary benefits such as housing, allied facilities, and an entitlement to rations.
Promotions
The following is the promotion of Commissioned Nursing Officers with Short Service:
- Lieutenant – upon admission;
- Captain – after three years of creditable commission service; (iii) Major – after eight years of creditable commission service.
